I don't expect any associate making near minimum wage to act like they love their job, and they don't act like they hate it here but they're still people. I appreciate that they aren't unreasonably rude, the actually try to take that step to make sure you don't feel put off not matter how their days going.
People work here. I appreciate you guys for giving all you got, y'all are 10/10 workers and dont' let no bad review or nothing tell you otherwise. People come on here to vent their frustrations and yall are doing the best you can. Anyone with half a brain can see and appreciate that“

“Customer service and food 10/10 recommend this location, from the main guy and the two ladies that have been there forever I wish I knew their names but they are beyond sweet and deserve a raise for going above and beyond to satisfy their customers! Hats off to yall <3“

“The food is good not great and the service is ok. The employees are not rude, but just seemed to be disinterested. The dining room looked clean, but the tables and chairs seem well-worn and in need of replacement. The past 3 times we have stopped there we have sat at a table that was wobbly.“

“This is a typical Jimmy John's. Someone buys a franchise and puts a couple of kids in charge of running it. Sometimes you get good service, fresh bread and a good, well made sandwich, sometimes you don't. The best time to go to a Jimmy John's is when they first open and the corporate crew is on site running the store. Then you will get a reliably good sandwich. I have been to this new store more than a half dozen times and though I ordered the same sandwich the same way, it has never been the same twice. And since I have gone in the late afternoon and evening, more times than not my bread is stale. As I said, this store seems no different than any Jimmy John's I have been to. Like franchise pizza, it's all about the money. Jimmy John's has one of the best sandwiches for fast take out when done right, and that usually requires the owner to be working behind the counter and not some minimum wage youngsters who would rather be somewhere else.“

“Charley’s is probably the highlight of Valley Hills Mall! The staff were courteous and fun to order with, the food was incredibly hot and fresh! My wife insisted on trying the wings and I’m so glad we did. I am not a wing guy but these are my new go too for delicious crispy and moist wings when the craving strikes! Ivonne knows how to sauce ‘em too!“

“We went there late evening and the employees were nice and efficient. The Big Kahuna chicken sub on wheat bread was excellent. My husband and I shared a Giant size and it was enough for the two of us. For all the mixed reviews this place gets, I was surprised because everything was very good.“

“I would definitely like to say that Bridget&Morgan are the most amazing and outstanding ladies who work here and they deserve a raise because they are so amazing and talented and outstanding in customer service these ladies are super sweet and take care of me and always are so welcoming and caring these girls are outstanding and amazing customers service!!!!! They care about their customers and they take care of their customers if you are in Lincolnton go see these amazing girls because they will take care of you and please treat them with kindness when you go in there. “So I tried to find a survey or something but can’t.
I went a few days ago and was behind a lady in a motorized Walmart cart. This lady was rude and just overall unpleasant. The two young men at the counter (I believe Conner and Skyler? I got their names but lost my note) handled all her problems with the most patience I have seen in a while. The lady complained that the lettuce looked “too brown” (it was fine) and had them grab a new bag out just to appease her.

These two young workers did fantastic, even while she was being difficult the other took and finished my order.

I talked to the manager but unfortunately did not get her name. I wanted to make sure she knew they did well when handling this lady.

People are so quick to leave nasty or negative reviews when things don’t go their way, it takes nothing to leave something positive.

“The subway in Newton North Carolina I visit often and have noticed over the past two years. The service and the product sometimes are hit and miss but over the past three or four months five months I’ve noticed is getting better each time I go. I especially want to give a shout out to one of the workers named Jessica. I would say the whole time I was there at any given moment she was working on 4 to 5 subs at a time and was pumping them out faster than the cashier, and the vegetable person could even keep close, my sandwiches, weremade very neat and to order exactly very easy to eat. Even with all the items that were placed on the sandwich definitely will return. I hope Jessica’s there because that’s how a Subway sandwich is supposed to look not desolate and not over bearing to where it’s just ridiculous a nice solid sub And not to mention about can’t beat some good old subway cookies, so Jessica and your team keep up the good work and I’ll continue to keep coming there just to see those personnel that work the evening shift so that I know I’ll have top quality professional service, and eat my sandwich or my sub with a big smile on my face Thanks again to Jessica and her team“
