“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“Eat there every time we are in the area. We always enjoy the home cooked food. Tonight my husband had the baked chicken with dressing, green beans and black eyed peas. I had the sausage with cabbage, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Both meals were delicious!!“

We have visited several times and they always go over and above our expectations. We quickly noticed that although we may have an assigned table and waitress, the waitresses support one another. A family atmosphere like a friend invited you to "dad & mom's" house for a bite to eat, and mom and the family give it their all.“

“I ordered the Cali turkey which was dry, not to my liking. The manager Cali came over to me and asked what was wrong with the burger. I explained it to her and then she asked would I like something else. She was VERY nice, the staff in general was nice. I ended up with the Chipotle wings, which were delicious!“

“This was our second visit. Kaylee’s service was prompt and professional despite her having (at least) a 12-top right beside us. Steak and Cobb salad were both excellent, and the bread pudding with ice cream dessert was one of the best things I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back again.“

“Been coming here for my birthday since 2022 and I absolutely love it. Big portions and good prices, the food is really nice, but the vibe of the place is the best. Listening to 70s rock on the way always fits, and they play oldies in the restaurant too. Amazing staff, and again just the design of the place is great. Always come here in the evening and enjoy your time.

and it’s got a good record shop next to it called Noble Records. Sells cds records and cassettes and I’ve bought from them after eating a lot. Writing this review right outside in the parking lot actually about to go in south 21.

“Four of us went out for a special dinner last night that was a treat by my son and his girlfriend. My husband said it was the best shrimp and grits he ever tasted! All of the food was delicious and our waitress was on point and so fun and friendly. We sat on the patio and it was the perfect ambiance. I definitely would like to go again when visiting my son.“

“I'm not sure why the reviews for this location is bad. The food was excellent, my man and I went on a Tuesday night, it was empty. We did the 2 for $25 we each got 2 meals and an appetizer. There's an upcharge for the streak and shrimp but portions are large, everything was fresh. Our server Savanah was quick and friendly, checked on us multiple times and gave an update with everything.“

“Such a fun unique restaurant in Matthews, North Carolina. It’s located in downtown Matthews on one of the side streets. Previouslyonly offered small plates, but they changed the menu recently. They do have a nice selection of different types of foods. If you’re a vegetarian, there’s always options to not include the protein. We went a couple weeks ago with friends. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and food. Great place to go with friends or a date night.“

“Food was good, I want to try a few other things! The mac n cheese was SO good & the chicken tenders were great. The grilled chicken & steak in our salads were not amazing but it's the meat of a salad so not much to look for there.
Waiter was super nice & surprised our son with free dessert!“

“Their layout is maximized for seating but it feels cramped no matter where you sit. It's a good business decision to make it so people werent waiting long for open seating, it just takes away from the experience slightly.

Ribs are very good here. Steak wasn't the worst I've had but won't order one again. Overall it was fine“
