“WE have always had great service here and unlike one review ( which was probably a competitor) the owners and staff have always been extremely helpful and polite. When my wife calls ahead, they recognize her voice and ask if she wants the regular, which for us has been the sopes. We have taken many family members here and just hung out at their tables and eaten and reordered until we can't eat any more. Great place“

“I've lived in Pisgah Forest all my life and this is without a doubt my favorite Mexican restaurant. Now that could be bias and probably is but I always enjoy the food and the service is great. They are very friendly and always happy to help with whatever you need. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Niyah was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable on the menu, anticipating our needs. Taco Boy menu is great—the salsa with chips is very tasty and fresh-made on-site each day. The chips are thin, light, and lightly salted, also freshly made and spectacular. We also had the shrimp quesadillas, and fried ice creams. Can’t say enough about the generous portion of shrimp, the seasoning, and presentation! We had patio seating on a beautiful, September evening! And all-round pleasure. Thanks Niyah and the whole crew!“

“Why can’t we have this restaurant closer to our home instead of off the interstate on our way to TN? We were in the mood for Mexican food fir lunch, and saw the sign for this restaurant as we exited. The food was marvelous, as was our waiter. We are on our way to our final destination now - full and raving about lunch. First thing that was given to us was a large round corn tortilla with salsa on top. It was not spicy, and it was just enough to whet our appetites. Delicious! We are grateful that we did not fill up by eating customary chips and salsa. The menu was huge, and it was difficult to decide on just one thing. Due to a dental procedure, I had to find something soft. The cheese quesadilla fit the bill and it was perfect. The included salad was different and amazing: cucumber, tomato, dried banana slice, apple slices, and lettuce with Caesar dressing. Husband raved about his cheese grilled burrito with chicken, rice, and the same salad. If you are in the area, and you like authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. We will make it a stop anytime we are in the area so we can try more of the menu items!“

“Hands down the best torta in the hvl avl area. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I’ve gone around to each taco truck and taqueria in the area and this one easily comes out on top. Not only was the food great but service was super welcoming and the place was clean. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Extremely clean. I mean, I as a restaurant employee many years, have worked places that aren't precisely thorough.
Big guy Rick was super chill and explained how they clean the soda And water dispensers every night.
Not every place does this.
Great vibes, tasty food will be back for more.

“I love beef tongue tacos and honestly have a crazy high standard for them and these were very much up to the task. I also got cheek tacos for my first time and they were good enough I wasn’t sad I didn’t get all tongue. Tacos come with onion cilantro lime wedges and 2 sauces. I recommend using lime and both sauces and you are going to be very happy with your lunch. Also 4 tacos for 12.80$ can’t be beat nowadays especially with flavor that makes them worth even more.“

“Me and my husband love going here for a quick lunch when I’m on my lunch break. The very first time we were there it was amazing so we decided to make this our occasional quick lunch spot when I’m working to far to go home. Downside is that they charge for every little thing.
My husband ordered me an orange soda because they were out of sprite when I was running late. It was okay not a big deal. I finished my first drink and asked the waitress if I could switch to a dr. Pepper instead.
She left and came back and told me In order to switch my drink I had to pay for another drink. ?? (But it comes from the same fountain, and they take your cup to refill it) I’m not fancy or needy by any means and didn’t mind alittle orange in my Dr Pepper.
But I wasn’t going to pay to switch my drink. Other than this the food is great. Service can be better, we still leave good tips but this definitely put a damper on one of our favorite places.“

“I visited this location a while ago and just got to writing a review. I was only reminded because I had a few questions before I put in an order today. I called the store and instantly got a manager who was very kind and informative. He was able to answer all my questions with no problems even with my two children screaming in the background about unrelated topics, they didn't want taco bell tonight but it doesn't matter because it's mommas choice tonight. Kids can get their McDonalds and Burger King when they have their own money for it. But going back on topic. All of my questions were perfectly answered and luckily everything I wanted tonight was ready and available, including my favorite burrito and drink! It's nice to feel like you can really have a conversation with someone as if you know them. I love this Taco Bell and can't wait to go back and see the enthusiastic smiling faces of the employees!
