“Some items are great, others aren't. I think they have really good smoked wings, tacos, and the fig prosciutto toast.
I was suggested by whoever sat us to get the devilled eggs. I have a feeling she was from up North because those were not any devilled eggs anyone I know would be making around here. Not because of the pickled onion or the bacon but the fact that the yolk mixture itself had zero flavor. I don't think they put anything in them but mayonnaise, I didn't even taste salt. I don't recommend those. Their house made PLM sauce is really good. The only thing I could label in it was mustard. I like the atmosphere.”

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!”

It’s refreshing to walk in and more times than not, see kids sitting on the couch studying and doing homework. Places like this are what our kids need. “My husband and I decided to check this place out for breakfast during our visit in Morehead City. So glad we did!! . The breakfast was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. It was fairly busy and wait staff kept the place hopping!!. Busboy was on top of every vacant table and immediately cleaned it. Upon people entering the restaurant, there was always someone looking to provide seating. While we were there a party of eleven came in and within 10 min they were accommodated. Will definitely be back!!”

BBQ sandwhich all the way (with coleslaw) was good, they have bottles of different sauces so you can make it your own! So I did.
Friend with me had the BBQ and chicken plate. The chicken was huge! Being me, I tasted it, the skin was crisp and light and the meat was tender and juicy.
There are many options to eat on the menu that anyone should be able to find something good to eat!”

What made the evening even better was the owner was friendly and helpful as we didn't know that the kitchen closed early. He made our order and the food was delicious.
