“The owner Augustine and his entire staff are incredible. They're professional and efficient. Love the seafood, lightly breaded. Good ambiance and restrooms are clean.
I love that they give you your drink to go too. All waitresses/waiters are nice. And the menu is easy to navigate with reasonable prices. I will come here for as long as he owns the restaurant! I love the calamari, it's full pieces not just rings. Everything is good on the menu. Neat how they have a drive thru also!“

“Me and my family ate at Jones tonight and it was very good. We all had flounder filet and I honestly think it was the best I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and really thick.
The waitress was very nice and really down to earth and kept our cups full the whole visit. The place looks a little rough on the outside but some of it is upgraded on the inside but looks great considering I use to eat here when I was a kid in 1977. Can’t wait to come back and try some shrimp and oysters.

The live music was the perfect backdrop, enhancing the fine dining experience without overwhelming conversation. Each steak was cooked to perfection. They don’t make chefs like John Duke anymore. The drinks menu was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. But what truly set this restaurant apart was the service. It was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel valued and well-cared for. The combination of exquisite food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere makes this a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy an excellent dining experience. I cannot recommend Duke’s enough!! It is a must try if you’re in Hickory!“

“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. Shout out to Elaine who was so friendly!!!!“

“This Culvers was extremely impressive. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Asheville. When I say they were busy, that may be an understatement. Line out the door, drive thru lined up, parking lot FULL. Being that we had received a Culver's gift card for christmas, we decided to go ahead and stay. The staff was extremely friendly. We waited about 10 minutes in line to order considering the amount of people. Then only had to wait about 15 minutes for our hot and fresh food to be at our table. I have experienced longer wait times at other Culver's in an environment that was not a fraction of the amount of busy they were. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I want to give props to the crew working. They were on it! Everything was clean, even the drink station! As stated before, very impressed with how this location is ran. Like a smooth sailing ship. Great job guys!“
