“Love the experience and Mitchell is a great waitress. The food is delicious, maybe less salt on the fries 😂 Not ready to die from cardiac arrest 🤣😂 The bread and the whipped butter will fill you up. It’s so good, you’ll continue to binge eat if you don’t learn to say stop. Waitress always checking on you and asking if you want more refill on your drinks. Definitely visiting again.

“Found this gem while searching for a place to eat with my sister during her annual visit from TN. We could not have made a better choice. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. “Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner we ordered! Staff helped me load to my car and it was ready when I arrived. The Turkey was smoked and my whole family loved it. The sides were very delicious as well, a lot better than what you get at the grocery store. I loved the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce the best. Tastes homemade and absolutely amazing!! “5 ⭐️ We came back to give this location another try; had a bad experience at the drive thru previously but the owner reached out to us, listened and seemed more than genuine in his distress. He promised that it would be better. He was right. Tonight we dined in—it was raining like crazy and we didn’t want to overload the drive thru. Diana was our server and she was delightful. Personable, efficient and caring. Our meal was perfect; the atmosphere was relaxed and happy and we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for asking us back; we will get back to our regular visits.“

“Not one of my favorite sonnys asked for lean brisket it was all fat husband couldn't even eat his dinner of brisket grilled cheese i will not be back to this location long wait at the table once we were seated fast. Sonnys his my favorite and from where I live this is the closest location driving 3hrs to be let down won't happen again“

“I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. In fact, that was the very best brisket I have ever eaten. It was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. They were great about accommodating my food allergies. You could tell the Mac and cheese was made from scratch. There were plenty of dipping & bbq sauces to try. The pickles are amazing as well. Chefs kiss!
When we arrived we were seated immediately, even at lunch time without a reservation. However, the service was slow and our waiter seemed a bit out-of-it and inattentive. The decor inside was of a motorcycle shop, which was unique and cool. The place was busy and obviously a popular spot. The restaurant had its own (small) parking lot. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Charlotte. It's full of Southern charm and delicious bbq.

“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“This place is hands down the best Korean BBQ place in Charlotte. If you want a server who is knowledgeable and cares about his patrons, Amadeo, is your guy. He helped picked out our menu and had wonderful recommendations. He made small talk at our table and we will be back because of his wonderful professionalism and manners. “Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

“Portion sizes were very nice. They gave us enough to share or take home. Service was a bit slow for it not to be crowded. We were a table of 12 with two servers but continued to ask for the same items over and over. It wasn't the best experience, but I've had some pleasant experiences at this location before.“

“We had the pleasure of working with George at OooWee Barbeque for two large events, and I cannot speak highly enough of his service. From the very beginning, he was incredibly easy to reach and quick to respond, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. We were operating on a tight schedule, and George accommodated every need without hesitation. Whether it was adjusting the menu, timing, or setup, he handled it all with professionalism and ease.
What truly sets George apart is his exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our guests. His attention to detail and willingness to adapt to our needs made us feel confident that we were in great hands.
And then there's the food—absolutely incredible. Often, you expect either great service or great food, but George excels at both. The barbeque was out of this world, with flavors that impressed even the toughest critics at our events. I genuinely can’t say which was better: his top-notch customer service or the delicious food. Both were beyond what we expected, making our events a huge success. Please get the macaroni & cheese EVERYTIME!
