“We just had the best experience at midwood smokehouse! Super family friendly. The server (I can’t recall her name but she was the one who was closing) was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!“

“Let's start off with the greeting from the hostess. She was very welcoming with a great personality. I believe our waitress said she was her Manager. Our waitress Marissa is one of the best waitresses I have come across. From the time we sat down until we left. Her customer service was 10/10. She engaged with my six year old daughter. Even when she was being extra talkative. She still engaged with her every time. To the point where my daughter loved talking to her every time she came to the table and walked by. She laughed and joked with her. Her conversations with my mom and I were super genuine. She took our order in a timely manner. She gave us updates while waiting for our meal. She checked on us throughout our meal. Gave us our drink refills in a timely manner. We didn't have to ask her for anything or wave her down. She was on top of it. She has the perfect personality and pays attention to her customer's. I also observed that she was the same with other customer's as well. She has the charisma to Intertwine and comfortability to talk to customer's and not at them. She cares about her customer's. She's an asset to your team. “Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner we ordered! Staff helped me load to my car and it was ready when I arrived. The Turkey was smoked and my whole family loved it. The sides were very delicious as well, a lot better than what you get at the grocery store. I loved the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce the best. Tastes homemade and absolutely amazing!! “From the moment we walked in, we were greeted. The gentleman at the register was very helpful in explaining the menu options and what suited a group of 4. The family pack was portioned well and more than enough food for the price. They brought out the food and were all very friendly. The ribs and pulled pork were delicious. The potato salad was perfect and the peach cobbler was still hot with great flavor and texture. I just wish they had more drink options. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. Overall a great experience!“

“Not the Macs I'm used to. I only had the cup of dumpling whatever and it was HORRIBLE! If there were dumplings in there, I have a problem. SAW NO DUMPLINGS and TASTED NO DUMPLINGS. I could feel the powdery substance. It didn't have time to thoroughly cook.
I will still recommend Macs and go back myself ! We Love noda!“

“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“SO GOOD!! I wanted ribs tonight and Shane’s Ribs did not disappoint! The half rack was perfect. The baked beans and green beans and garlic toast were great! We have been trying various places since moving back to NC and Shane’s is a new favorite. We brought some peach cobbler home for later and it was delish!! Thank you Carlos for being so welcoming and personable!!“

We were operating on a tight schedule, and George accommodated every need without hesitation. Whether it was adjusting the menu, timing, or setup, he handled it all with professionalism and ease.
What truly sets George apart is his exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our guests. His attention to detail and willingness to adapt to our needs made us feel confident that we were in great hands.
And then there's the food—absolutely incredible. Often, you expect either great service or great food, but George excels at both. The barbeque was out of this world, with flavors that impressed even the toughest critics at our events. I genuinely can’t say which was better: his top-notch customer service or the delicious food. Both were beyond what we expected, making our events a huge success. Please get the macaroni & cheese EVERYTIME!
