“Great little neighborhood deli in N. Raleigh area. Ordered the Grand Gobbler on focaccia (bread was perfect & so fresh) & the potato salad (literally some of the best I’ve ever had). It was all so plentiful & so very good! Place has a very simple, but tasteful menu. Super nice staff working Sabrina & (Dalton brought our food out & spoke) he always does a perfect job on preparing our sandwiches! 🥪 Overall service was great! Definitely a must for a quick lunch stop! Will definitely be back asap!“

“I don't usually leave Google reviews, but I have been frequenting Boulted Bread for a few months now, and I can safely say it's my favorite bakery in the triangle! All of the bread, pastries, and drinks that I have tried have been truly phenomenal. My go-tos thus far have been the seeded levain, the ham and cheese croissant, and the morning bun. I highly recommend! The customer service is always fantastic as well. The young lady with curly hair and silver rings (Lizzie, I think her name is) always helps me find what I need and leaves a smile on my face. She isn't a bad looker, either - don't tell my wife I said that! I'm only taking away one star because it has been SO HOT in there recently. I worry for the ladies and gents working there. Cheers!“

“I have been coming here for years, and I always marvel at just how sincerely friendly, upbeat, and efficient an operation this is...as with any business, there is constant turnover, but for the last few years I have been consistently impressed with Jess, Elley, Niki, and Kat--they always remember what I like and always treat me with such kindness, warmth, and courtesy. “I was greeted upon entering this place, the food and drinks all look delicious! I got a frozen Java chip drink with coffee that was good! My partner got a churro sundae and couldn’t put it down once he took a bite! Simply sublime! They have a free parking lot in front of the store, about 5 or so tables and chairs inside. They have a changing table in the women’s bathroom and the bathrooms are very clean!“

“This Optimist location has a great selection of coffee with friendly baristas and welcoming service. It’s always clean and usually pretty busy when I stop by. I’m a little torn about that — it’s nice to see how much people love this place, but it also means it can get crowded. Still, it’s one of my favorite coffee spots - great for hanging out, studying, or teleworking. As a plant lover, I'm obsessed all the indoor plants they have. It's clear they’re well cared for and adds such a really nice vibe.“

I'm basic & love a good black drip coffee!), and my husband loves the chocolate croissants and for me -- ohmigoodness, the vegan banana chocolate chip muffins -- divine!!! Baked in house & you can't get just one! Highly recommend! The shop itself: charming atmosphere inside, outdoor seating available, and a variety of goods from other local vendors available (pins, jewelry, stickers, candles, shirts...super fun local stuff!), helpful & kind staff, and a far more extensive menu of food & drink than what I have described! :-) Haven't been yet? “Though the Optimist had a great atmosphere and coffee is pretty tasty (I ordered a drip and a pour over), the service leaves something to be desired.

The pour over took 20 minutes because the barista is also the person taking the order, and my sandwich took even longer. Not the barista’s fault, she was slammed, but there were other employees around just doing nothing to help her. For the price, we were hoping for something better!“
