“I’ve been enjoying Village Tavern for over 25 years—whether celebrating with friends and family or simply stopping in for a casual meal. It’s one of those rare places where I know I can always count on a consistently great meal and warm, attentive service.
There’s truly not a bad seat in the house. The indoor dining area is cozy and welcoming, and I especially love the outdoor patio when the weather’s nice. The large bar inside is perfect for socializing or networking, with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It’s a spot that’s friendly to both families and singles, and the staff always makes everyone feel at home.
Some of my favorites include the fish tacos, meatloaf, and carrot cake—each one consistently delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable.
Village Tavern has been part of so many memories over the years, and I’m grateful it continues to be a place I can return to with confidence and joy.“

“This place is a hidden secret. The food was amazing. Also looking around at everyone else's food that came out looked great as well. The food actually looks like the pictures posted. Definitely a keeper! The restaurant is clean and the servers are nice and friendly. TVs are in eye view no matter where you sit. It's not a boring atmosphere. Sitting inside and out. Must check out!!“

“AWESOME! Little Mom& Pop diner. We went for breakfast and I had two eggs oe and a 5oz hamburger steak with grits. My wife had the Western Omelet. My eggs and burger were cooked perfectly and the grits were nice and smooth. The omelet had sautéed onions and peppers in it which a lot of places just add raw veggies into the mix. It was done they way it should be and perfect amount of cheese. We got there about 8:45am and the morn rush was gone but it is a very small place with maybe a dozen tables and booths. We were thrilled with the service and my coffee cup was always full. Parkers is a place we will definitely go back to in the future. 👍😁“

The Philly steak N chz is another a favorite, and I heartily recommend the pita wraps! Not to add how delicious the Caesar salad with steak or shrimp is!“

“Elevated American menu and cocktails. It’s become a favorite with non-vegans family, and offers a good variety of vegan food and cocktails. Highly recommend their black bean burger and cauliflower apps with their chipotle sauce. The menu denotes what can be made vegan!“

“Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

“The food was good, not great. The fish was not cooked very well. Service was applicable. The appearance of the restaurant was not good at all. Several tables were not cleaned, and there was lots of food on the floor. The atmosphere was not pleasing for the consumption of food ?“

“Fantastic cheese curds…a must have! I had the Italian beef sandwich “baptized”. I’m from Chicago and know what the sandwich is supposed to taste like. They really delivered on it. Taste, texture, and condiments were very similar to what I would expect in Chicago. Well done! The only feedback is that the bathrooms needed attention.“

“Long day of travel and meetings so didn’t want to go out for dinner. Did room service and glad I did. Perfectly cooked and seasoned filet. Waffle fries with no greasiness. Mixed green salad. Then chocolate mousse cake to finish off meal. Great food. Will do this again next time in High Point.“

“Last minute called in for a Pep Pizza and I must say this has been the most comparable NY Pizza I had and I’m born and raised in Long Island! Sauce and cheese ratio was perfect and the crust was crispy. They got it right. Absolutely will be ordering again. And receptionist was very friendly. And thank you for being in Summerfield, it was very convenient from where we are! :)“
