“We discovered this restaurant during a recent stay with friends at High Rock Lake. Delicious grilled shrimp and scallops! Portion sizes were large and prices were reasonable. Very fresh tossed salad with homemade dressing. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit.“

“I had three of the soft beef tacos for taco Tuesday. They were surprisingly good with just the addition of their delicious house made taco sauce. I would have preferred my tortillas to be at least heated if not grilled, but you can't beat the price. The staff seems to be mostly made up of family members adding to the friendly atmosphere.

This is a typically modest, small city barbecue restaurant that really seems to care about the product they serve. I was pleasantly shocked when I tried my daughter’s chicken, hand breaded, crispy, juicy and tender like a fancy full service restaurant might serve. I don’t get the allure of Brunswick Stew and that was the only thing I didn’t care for, it seems like nothing more than some BBQ dumped into some canned vegetable soup. Everything else was very good and I will definitely be going back.“
