“I ordered my food to go. It was prepared quickly. It would have been a 5 if my general tso chicken would have been crispy. It was not soggy but it wasn't crispy. The portion size was on the border. A another half a scoop of rice would have made it. Either if you haven't been they are worth a try.“

“This was a great comfort food spot! We ordered 4 dishes, totaling $70. The dishes were all flavorful and well priced in my opinion. We choose 3 different noodles and 3 different proteins and the steamed dumplings. Service was fast. Clean and nice staff.“

“i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

“I ordered the sesame chicken with noodles as they call it versus lo mein. I was completely shocked to see how much broccoli I had. There must have been close to 10 little pieces of broccoli with an additional 10 to 20 pieces of sesame chicken. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Even though I had to walk a half mile home, it was still piping hot. The service was phenomenal, fast, quick and very good. If you're in the Matthews area, get here between 11:00 and 2:30 Monday through Saturday and you can't go wrong for their lunch specials“

“My wife, granddaughter and I love this restaurant! We always order the green tea, garlic bok choy with rice, shrimp spring rolls, Singapore noodles, veggie, shrimp or chicken curry.

Their bok choy is the best in Charlotte! Everything we’ve ordered for the past two+ years has always been so fresh and delicious. The service provided by Jean and Shelly is always top notch too. Their restaurant is always so clean and has a stellar sanitation grade between 100 to 98!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem!!

My only very small critiques would be to please:
1. remove the tails from the shrimp and
2. remove the black film from your restaurant windows. The black film makes it look like the restaurant is dark and closed. It doesn’t look inviting from the road/parking lot.“

“My rating is for my food/experience in the last year. I enjoyed JinJin from 2008 when I first moved here until maybe 8-10 yrs ago. Something changed.. I'm not sure what, but all of a sudden food was consistently bad until I finally stopped going altogether... until maybe a year ago. I saw a few recent good reviews, so thought I would give it another go. I'm glad I did.. every time I go, my food is delicious. It always tastes freshly made, flavorful and hot, the portion sizes are generous. My order is always correct. I usually have the same guy ring me up when I go in to pick up order.. he is consistently efficient, courteous and always asks what condiments I would like, then is sure to include more than plenty in the bag. The atmosphere isn't great for eating in, but they no longer offer that option anyway, so it's fine for take out, imo. I never have issues with ordering over the phone, but I do recall the lady another reviewer mentioned who used to hang up a lot... and maybe still does, I just never seem to get her on the phone anymore. Anyway, I eventually started to find her hang ups amusing, and, in my case, my order was always accurate, so her hang ups never really bothered me.“

“Traveled in the area for work found this place. Walked in no thrill take out place with open kitchen (love you xan see how clean things are). Ordered my good waited stead stream of take.out orders. When I got to my hotel I dug in with beef and broccoli.. meat was tender broccoli perfectly made. Good amount of sauce that was clean and refreshing. Light and tastey didn't sit heavy after eating. Fried rice came with the combo was more like brown rice. It was clean and good not mushy like other locations. Egg roll wasn't home made assuming Sam's or bulk buy. It was ok nothing id buy separately hit and sour looks amazing and haven't tried it but looks perfectly made. Definitely pleased with this place“

“We have been coming to best wok since 2001 it has been the best chinese fast food since I have been eating Chinese food.
..I grew up in the sardis rd area in 2000 and when we left the hospital in mattews after having my baby in 2010 my 1st meal was best wok II...... “Clean little take out spot. We dined in and the food was piping hot, freshly fried, and piled high. It’s pricey for pretty much take out food, but I was stuffed to the gills and took a whole entire order of food home. $49 for 2 people is crazy but we got 4 meals.

“I usually go there with my son and husband. All three of us have very different taste. this is the only restaurant we no one has to compromise. We all get exactly what we like. Our son likes Sushi, my husband likes Chinese, I like American. We try to go early because it's cheaper and we get a senior discount as well. we help ourselves to the food so there is no wait time. A refill of your drink is done very quickly. The atmosphere is also very nice. No loud music and the waiters a friendly and polite.“

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

Service - everyone was nice esp our server, Melly (not sure if that was the correct spelling of her name) but she was very polite and attentive and was always smiling.

“My girlfriend grabbed some takeout from this place while I was at work, so I only had it microwaved, but let me tell you, this stuff is EXCELLENT.

Beef Ho Fun, General Tso's and Shrimp Sa Cha, all three were great. Light amount of spice, just enough to get a bit of lip burn but not so much to need to water.
The noodles in the Beef Ho Fun had just the right amount of chew.

I haven't had their stuff fresh yet, but if you're coming home from a long shift at 1 am, you can't do better than this place.“

“I've been a customer of this restaurant for many years. The food is always consistently good and served very quickly. I like the lunch specials they are a good deal and the serving sizes are more reasonable for lunch. I did treat myself to the cinnamon cheesecake with sweet potato topping. Yummy 😋 that was good!

Another favorite for dinner are the bento box deals. They come inclusive with some sushi rolls, main course, eggs roll (or spring roll) with rice.“

“Ordered the dinner combination which came with and entree, rice, and an eggroll. Loved the freshness of the Kung Pow Chicken. The veggies were cooked, but retained some crispness. We ordered delivery to the hotel, so the eggroll while tasty, was a bit soggy. Overall pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the Drunken noodles. It was a substantial portion and the noodles were perfect mix of elasticity, smoothness, chewiness. The sauce was an exquisite blend of flavors with mild spicyness. I just wish it was a bit more saucy the noodles dried out quickly. My husband ordered the kungpao chicken which was expertly prepared. The sauce was sweet, sour and spicy all the same time. I couldn't decide which new dish I enjoyed more.

The server was very patient with our indecision as we wanted to try something new and gave us suggestions. We appreciated her attentive service. “I would like to share my experience with Jade kitchen 2 since me and my wife moved out here. It’s been very difficult to find some decent Chinese food in general being from New York and Philadelphia. It’s really hard to find Chinese food that taste like how it does up north. I will say since trying almost all of the Chinese food restaurants out here in Monroe, and the surrounding areas Jade kitchen 2 is our new go to spot. I definitely would recommend the house fried rice, chicken, wings, sesame chicken, wontons, crab rangoons, and the eggrolls. I haven’t tried any of the other menu items, but I’m glad I found this spot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant inside is clean. Give them a try and let me know what y’all think.“
