“It had been 2 years since our last visit, but things were basically the same except we found out that they now have a Monday special with $3 pints. We unfortunately went in on a Tuesday, though the beers were still a fairly reasonable at $5 a pint. We had the Pale Ale and the Wilmington Brewery's Tropical Lightning that were both good. The cold case had a lot of other beer selections in a can including the great little lager Hamm's beer. The young girl behind the counter was very personable, offering tastes when we inquired about certain options. Views and vibe remain great.“

The view is excellent, it has a surprising amount of seating, and with some decent headphones, I've found it to be a good spot to get some work done.“

“I really enjoy the people and the overall atmosphere here. Came to Grinders quite often when I first moved back to Wilmington. However, Grinders has always been on the high end for prices. Just got my first Dirty Chai over 8 dollars in Wilmington! I didn’t mind that it was made iced instead of hot as I requested but the prices are pretty ridiculous for the area. Go to Bespoke or Casablanca, get the same ambience and mucchhh more affordable coffee in my opinion!“

“While there are many coffee shops in the area, Zola is truly cute and cozy. The service is outstanding – they even brought our coffee to us while we were browsing the lovely selection of books! I highly recommend trying their turmeric cinnamon latte with oat milk (made perfectly without syrup). And what was actually impressive- they make fresh turmeric shots from the root! Looks like it’s a wonderful place to hang out!“

I go there quite frequently on my commute to work each morning - I typically do a mobile order & do drive through pick-up. Besides my coffee always being reliably tasty, (my drinks always slay), all the baristas in the morning have been so friendly & lovely - and that’s tough first thing in the AM! They remember who I am, my name, and one in particular always remembers the small details (thanks girl!) - makes me look forward to going. And truly starts my day off on the right foot. 🫶🏼“

I visited this Starbucks recently and i wanted to write their lavender flavored drinks on the menu. I had ordered the iced lavender oat milk Latte for the first time and to my surprise I didn't enjoy the drink. While I usually love trying new drinks at Starbucks, I have never been in a situation to return a drink because it didn't meet my expectations. I went ahead and did it for the first time, I wasn't sure about the response. I requested a replacement for the drink I had ordered and to my surprise they offered to replace my drink for free. I really moved by their service and I believe that deserves a mention. Thank you!“

“Really love the aesthetic design and the drinks were phenomenal. The bartender was so knowledgeable and really took time to educate us and steer us in the direction. We went on a Friday night after dinner around 7:30. They were setting up for a house music DJ which we couldn't stay for. The music while we were there was a little too sleepy and there were only 2 other patrons, which was surprising considering how great the place and drinks were. Not a high energy place, next time we'll bring a chill group of friends with us and come a little later. Maybe we just hit it up at the wrong time.“
