“Hard to believe I'd never been to a Jersey Mike's since I like subs. I wanted to compare it to Subway, which on the whole is pretty decent. I was impressed. I ordered online and went there to pick it up. The place was neat as a pin, very clean, bright and cheery. Two employees enthusiastically greeted me, and one wished me 'Happy Holidays' when I left. (People actually say that!) My order was ready, even tho I arrived early. Everything, including my options, was exactly the way I asked. Very tasty. I would say it is between a Subway 6 inch and footlong sandwich, but with a little more of everything. Cost for the sub alone was $11.00 with tax. That strikes me as pricey, but it was good. I guess they have to pay Danny Divito something to endorse it!“

“While staying in downtown Omaha, my husband and I walked from Hotel Indigo to Block 16 and quickly understood why there was a crowd both outside and inside when we arrived around 6:00 PM.

We ordered at the counter and found the process easy and efficient. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We especially appreciated being told about free refills and being checked on to ensure we were enjoying our meal and overall experience.

We shared a grilled cheese sandwich and the Funky Fungi Fries. Both were outstanding. The flavors were distinct, creative, and clearly intentional. The portions were generous enough for a hungry individual but also worked perfectly for sharing between two people, which is exactly what we did.

What impressed us most was how well everything came together. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food quality, service, and overall experience never seemed to suffer.

Block 16 is an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Omaha. Great food, friendly staff, generous portions, and a restaurant that clearly understands why people keep coming back.“

“The team at this store is so friendly and really wants you to enjoy your meal. They are busy everyday, but still are take their time with each guest. The food is amazing. Catering is super easy to order here with many different options to fit every need.“

“With Dodge Street running at 50mph you NEED to slow down and find this gem. Just off of Dodge at 80th street this sandwich shop packs a punch. We had a last minute need to feed the staff and Penn Station East Coast Subs ABSOLUTELY fit the bill. I ordered a sub package for 12 and a large Italian Salad. It was delivered on time and displayed professionally in the space available. They thought of everything and left nothing to chance, we had plenty of condiments and dressing for all. They will be a regular in the rotation now.“
