48 Best Sandwich Shops near La Vista

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Goodcents Sandwich Shop – La Vista, NE

Excellent experience all around. The customer service was outstanding, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and clean. I would easily rate Goodcents as one of the best overall sub shops in the area. The quality of the food combined with very reasonable pricing makes it an easy place to recommend. I will definitely be back.“

“The food and customer service here is amazing! The only subway I enjoy coming to with my friends/ family, specifically Anthony, and Stephanie are truly amazing people who accommodate and are very patient with me and others, would recommend!!“

“I stopped in for lunch today and had a mixed experience. When I walked in, I was greeted right away, which I appreciated. I went up to the register to order, but no one ever came over to help. It was clearly the lunch rush, so it seemed like the team may have been a bit understaffed.

After waiting for a bit, I ended up just taking a seat and placing my order through the app at 11:29 AM. My sandwich was ready at 11:40 AM, and it was great as always. The food quality was exactly what I expect from Jimmy John’s.

Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, but it would have been nice to be able to order at the counter instead of having to switch to the app. Hopefully it was just a busy moment and not the usual experience.“

“We went to the grand opening for the new Jersey Mike's location in La Vista by Costco. The staff was super friendly, clean and inviting atmosphere plus the sandwiches were delicious! We highly recommend 👍“

“I love Block16. One of my first times eating here I ended up eating lunch right next to Chris Stapleton when he was touring in town, so you know if famous folks are TOLD to go here, you know it's good.

We ordered a pretty large / catering-sized order for our office of about 30 people ahead of time and they made it really easy for us. I'm not sure if it's something they would always do, but their attention to detail, organization, and overall customer service in addition to just HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS -- it's worth navigating all the construction downtown right now.

DO IT! Also ate too quickly to take any photos. Just eat here, please.“

“Parking pickle, no pun intended! This staff more than made up for thei associated cable car traffic headache. Their sandwiches are more than a single serving but not enough to share.

I believe they're in error with a mac & cheese - should be cheese & mac, it's the cheese blending which makes it delicious not their pasta - TRY IT!“

“This place, as always, was fantastic. I had never had Picklemans before moving here but it's become my favorite sandwich stop. I had placed a DoorDash order, on lunch as a driver myself, and DD sent my order to the wrong store, waiting precious time and potentially leaving me with no food and no break.

Worst part? I forgot my wallet, and had no way to pay at the store.

*angelic noises* enter DAMIEN and DANNY. I had told them I had a DD order, they didn't have it, but checked my app, CALLED THE OTHER STORE FOR ME, and made my food. They handled every aspect of making sure everything was above board, I was taken care of, and fed. Seriously, bless you, dudes. I don't know if I've ever felt so taken care of and appreciated as a customer then I have by these two. RAISES RAISES RAISES THESE DUDES ARE WHY I COME BACK TO PICKLEMANS!!!!!

-a very hungry amazon driver ❤️“

“Every time I come downtown, I make a beeline for this place. The owners are amazingly kind, and clearly care about their customers and food. This is more than a chain restaurant this is a mom and pop sandwich shop where every sandwich is made with love! Thank you for every amazing meal!“

“Great service, great food, very clean. Obviously popular because it got very busy after we were served,“

“I was in a pickle today with my catering order being canceled without prior knowledge. I walked in to Potbelly and was greeted with kindness by Zane. I shared my predicament with another sandwich location and how I was in urgent need of 15 sandwiches. Zane, Jesse, Betty & Ian took care of me right away. They procured 2 sandwich boxes in under 20 minutes. I was able to make my meeting and take care of my customers without missing a beat. The team at Potbelly really went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate them and will certainly be back!!“

“With Dodge Street running at 50mph you NEED to slow down and find this gem. Just off of Dodge at 80th street this sandwich shop packs a punch. We had a last minute need to feed the staff and Penn Station East Coast Subs ABSOLUTELY fit the bill. I ordered a sub package for 12 and a large Italian Salad. It was delivered on time and displayed professionally in the space available. They thought of everything and left nothing to chance, we had plenty of condiments and dressing for all. They will be a regular in the rotation now.“

“Absolutely phenomenal sandwiches. I've been there several times and it never disappoints. My favorite is the Red Baron.“

“first time having it this will deff be my new spot! love love love them“

“Kind of an out of the way small location tucked into a strip mall on a major street. The service was adequate but not terrific. The food was good but I've had better sandwiches at other locations. The vibe was very low key and I'm hoping the scent of a certain product came from the next door establishment. It was adequately clean but shows some wear. Not a bad place just not outstanding where this chain is concerned.“

“I order a sandwich and tuna salad. The tuna salad was outstanding. Delivery was within 30 minutes which isn’t bad in Omaha. Most definitely recommend the Aksarben store.“

“First time at Jersey Mike’s today. The food was excellent. I was even more impressed with the manager. I did not catch his name but he pushed his employees to get orders right, and quick, was himself working hard and did so with a smile. He greeted every customer, played peek-a-boo with a baby and had cheerful conversations with regulars. All of this on a busy Sunday lunch rush. Jersey Mike’s you do not want to lose this gentleman! It’s obvious he cares. With as busy as they were the bathrooms were even clean and tidy“

“Good food, good service!“

“Best sub sandwiches ever!!!!! Every sandwich is made fresh and served hot. My favorite is the BBQ Brisket and Cheddar.“

“I visit this store a lot but my latest order was an absolutely terrible failure. I actually had 4 different problems with my order and the worst of it was a bug in my sandwich. Ordered a Deluxe original with no lettuce & tomato and they slopped so much of both on my sandwich. Both were wilted and had a rotten smell and ruined the entire order. On top of that failure, both of the sandwiches were supposed to be double meat but were not double meat at all and they also failed to include additional items in the bag that we ordered. I could go on and on about their failures but the bug in my sandwich says it all! Huge disappointment! MASSIVE FAILURE!“

“I buy a sandwich from this Jimmy John’s fairly often. I’ve never had a wrong order. Like the ads say it’s fresh food fast.

But I’m really just writing this review to give a special shout out to Gina who often works the windows at night. Gina is a welcoming, kind, fun, efficient and genuinely authentic person. You can tell she cares about and likes people and always takes that extra step to be present in the moment which can be pretty rare these days. She’s a true treasure!“

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR ANYONE! A 1/2 STAR REVIEW IS TOO GOOD FOR THEM! I called the north 40th street location and made a delivery order for lunch today. I ordered a Bootlegger club only meat and cheese on wheat. first off the delivery driver did not meet me on the floor I specified and I went from floor to floor to find him. I finally met him and received my order. upon opening I learned the sandwich was made incorrectly. The pit lettuce and mayo on it anyway. I called and was given to the manager. instead of trying to handle the situation calmly, she accused me of having an attitude, said it would be made the way I requested it and redelivered. The manager abruptly hung up the phone. I was called by the driver roughly 15 minutes later and went to the third floor to pick up the new sandwich. I gave the first one to a therapist downstairs and went back up to eat lunch. upon opening the sandwich, I learned it was not made as I requested either! It was gooped with mayo! It was already after 1:30pm at this point and I did not have time nor did I feel like calling that store again! I packaged it back up and gave it to another therapist downstairs (they paid me for both sandwiches). So instead of getting to eat lunch, I had to go without because the staff at this location have issues with listening. I GUESS WHEN YOU WORK AT A STORE THAT IS SURROUNDED BY VAPE/KRAYON/THC STORES, IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO GET A VAPE, GET HIGH IN THC OR KRATOM, AND WORK AT A DELI Y DER THE INFLUENCE THAT IT IS TO DO THE JOB RIGHT AND MAKE FOOD AS REQUESTED BY A CUSTOMER!!!!!! THIS LOCATION GOT PAID BY ME FOR FOOD I WAS UNABLE TO ENJOY OR EAT! THIS LOCATION WILL NEVER GET BUSINESS FROM ME AGAIN!“

“Chyn was excellent and delightful Actually talks to customers“

“This is my favorite sub shop! Sandwiches are always fresh, nicely proportioned, prices are just like every other sandwich shop, there's plenty of different sandwiches on the menu, they're always adding more. Staff is always friendly!! Definitely will be back and definitely do recommend!!“

“Visited our local Jersey Mike’s at 10110 South 5th Street, Bellevue, NE, to pick up our complimentary sandwich, it was a replacement one from a prior visit. This sandwich was what we usually get from this location! Fresh bread and good meat portions! As usual the staff was friendly and professional! A big Thank You to the Store and District Manager for making it right!“

“Ordered lunch for delivery and had a great first-timer experience. Ordering flow was easy and intuitive, food arrived quickly with great packaging and labeling. Sandwiches were great (New Yorker and Ham/Cheese Melt) and sides were equally good. Generous portions of everything. Drinks were carefully packaged and very well-prepared. A new go-to for lunch!“

“I would leave a 10 star review if I could!
By far the best subway I have ever been to!
The guys working make perfect sandwiches and actually make them look nice and perfect amount of toppings on every sandwich! The place is always clean and no matter if I stop by in the afternoon or later at night, I always get the same perfect sandwiches and best service!“

“Tracy / Morgan run a very efficient clean store. I have been to many Subways across the country. This store has been by far my best experience to date. 9 out of 10 times the vegetables on my sandwich are typical a day from being expired, this store had fresh veggies and service with a smile. Awesome experience!!! Thank you Tracy / Morgan“

“I had the classic cheesesteak with bacon cheese fries and a strawberry lemonade. It was really good. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I LOVE Jimmy Johns, but it legitimately bugs me, that EVERY TIME I add mayo packets to my order, they NEVER pay attention and add them! This is the 3rd time this has happened to me. :(“

“Service was exceptional. Made an order through the app & completely forget about transport situation. Made a phone call & the person who picked it up managed to changed pick up time. I would be ok if my sandwiches were made earlier & waiting to be pick up; however to my surprise I was given a freshly made sandwiches.Foods tasted the same but the service/atmosphere on this location is excellent. Thank you!“

“Walked in the store amazed and viciously stimulated , Wes had had the store looking like Mr clean 🧼 was in the house and had all the product fresh and bread cooking. You can tell he used clean water to mop too. I never walked into a store so clean and fresh in my 41 years of life!!! I know it’s real because I wrote this review in store. He deserves it“

“I always place my order online and it’s always ready when I arrive, which I really appreciate since I order right before my lunch break and I’m usually in a rush. The service is always great! One small suggestion would be to keep the chips and drinks stocked a bit more, since last time there weren’t many options. Other than that, everything is wonderful—thank you!“

“Love the #5's and the number 9's they are the Best !!!“

“I’ve been coming to this Subway for years. The night and the day crew both do their thing on the sandwiches. If you just say what you want politely, they build the sandwiches very nicely for you. Just be realistic though folks. Great work overall by the people working here!“

“Always a safe bet to eat here, love the tuna subs!“

“I hit the drive thru just about hangry for a Royal Treat, King some combo.

I've got to tell you, in my 63 1/2 years on earth, it was the BEST sandwich I'd ever had.

Thank you, Little King sandwich maker!“

“I came in there two days in a row with my pregnant daughter last week. There was a nice young lady named Kathryn (also my daughter's middle name ❤️) she was so friendly and polite. She even remembered my daughter's sandwich on the second day!!!! She deserves some special recognition! She absolutely made my daughter's day!“

“The footlong cookie is AMAZING very moist chewy chocolatey as you can see from the one picture. The footlong pretzel was just a tad overdone but still very good.. would recommend trying them if you're a pretzel or cookie fan before they're gone.“

“FINALLY, I can get ranch dressing at Jimmy John's. OK, it's "Kickin' ranch", but it's still ranch! Good job JJs! Now how about some pickle chips to put ON my sandwich?“

“Leo and Amia are the MVPs! They always make sure our night hospital staff are fed, especially since the cafeteria is closed when night shift arrives. They go above and beyond, staying literally until the last person is done ordering, not closing early. Thank you both for your patience and understanding! It means the world to have people that help you while you're helping others! I'm soo thankful you're here! @Subway they both are exceptional in everyday, particularly in quality and customer service!“

“Picture doesn’t do my sandwich justice. I got the cubano. I get the sliced wheat bread, because I don’t like the French bread. The sandwich is only showing one half, but it comes full. It was fresh and it was made how a sandwich should be made, no skimping out here! I won’t mind spending $13 on lunch (if you get a combo, sandwiches are cheaper by themselves), because at least you’ll get a quality meal for it being a fast sub place.“

“Ordered delivery multiple times from this location, and the driver, Veronica, is amazing and super fast. Faster than freaky fast. Every time she delivers to my work, it makes my day so much better. She definitely deserves a raise and promotion to delivery manager if not already one. Love this woman.“

“I got a sandwich for lunch here today and the experience was great. I came there hungry and frustrated but I left in a very good mood. The guy that served me Anthony was great. Eventhough he delt with a difficult customer before me he never showed any negitive vibe. He was patient attentive and accurate with the whole process of my order. I appreciate the great customer service. Anthony deserves a raise in my opinion.“

“Angie is my favorite sandwich maker...when everyone else is mean or moody or acts like they hate their job she's so sweet. I have little quirks with my sandwich request (how it's layered etc)...she always does it with a smile and she's just super friendly and I really appreciate her service“

“Solid place. Whats not to like. A good, sandwich made to order with quality, fresh looking ingredients. The turkey was sliced to order and the bread was delicious. The 12 inch sub was enough for a little over a meal for a person with an above average appetite. The service was friendly. The price was reasonable. The restaurant was clean.“

“This was my first (but definitely not last!) "Unwich". For those not familiar with these, they are the standard sandwich wrapped in a nice big lead of lettuce. I had been apprehensive about getting on because I thought it would be fairly insubstantial and I would still be hungry. NOT!! The ingredients were excellent, the portion was absolutely adequate and the mouth feel was very satisfying. Service was excellent... did a great time answering questions. I have Celiac Disease and It's awesome to find a totally tasty option for when I'm craving a sub. Well done!“

“The gentleman behind the counter - Sandwich Artist - he impressed me. The coupon I had was rejected by the system. He went above and beyond to make it right. I appreciate his thinking and his customer service. Subway would be a better business all around with more men like that behind the register.“

“Love a good sub from Jersey Mike's, but every time I order a sandwich they make it a complicated process. Ordered a Club Supreme which comes with bacon and mayo. I say make it Mike's way which should imply to keep the sandwich as is then put the Mike's way toppings on it. Then that's where they ask me if I want each topping lettuce, onion, tomato, bacon, mayo. Yes I want everything that comes on the sandwich with Mike's way. Shouldn't be that difficult.“
