“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“Amazing. My expectations were pretty high because of the reviews and somehow it was even better than I expected. I got a farmhouse burger with a soft egg and a mint chocolate milkshake. The burger was cooked exactly the way I like and the egg was picture perfect to the point I was almost sad to ruin it by taking a bite. The shake, my lord, what a treat. I am putting this place right at the top of my places to frequent going forward.“

“Amazing first time visit to the Portsmouth NH location…from the the decor…to the scrumptious meals we had, Chicken Cordon Blue Benny and an Omelet with a heaping side plate of various meats( sausage,bacon and ham) and not to mention bottomless coffee refills……however what stood out the most was our server Emma ! Emma - has a unique talent for making you feel like you are the most important person in the room, even as she was juggling all her tables. Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. The food is consistently very flavorful. The owner makes a point of hiring only Thai cooks for authentically amazing food. Everything was delicious, the pork broke apart with just a plastic spork. Rice was well cooked and seasoned. Sheet fries were a great sharing size and delicious, not too heavy and well salted. “I was planning to go to a different downtown restaurant and walked in to this one as it started raining. The waitress took every effort to ensure our dietary requirements were taken care of. They had quite a few veggie burger options. We picked The Cool Beans, which came with a black bean and corn patty. She was quite transparent with the fact that they used the same fryer and oil for frying meat,veggie appetizers and fries. So, she substituted fries with freshly sliced avocado. The burger itself was thick and juicy. We ordered a PB& Chocolate milkshake that capped out dinner. They went out of the way to limit cross contamination. Will definitely return.“

No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.“

“Great place to all kinds of breads with different flavours, we got Tomato bruschetta , olive bread , maple Banana walnut. Also filled with local products jams, sauces and mustards (btw are amazing) friendly staff that are very helpful and knowledgeable! However, it was not our favorite lobster roll. It needed a little more mayonnaise, a butter toasted bun and lettuce. The extra flavor and crunch would have made this a 5 star for sure.“
