“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.“

“The most amazing experience ever. Can’t say enough. Both Mary and Philip are the sweetest and were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. They didn’t charge me a single cent. I got the same order for the following week and they did an absolutely amazing job. The BEST CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES EVER!!!! “My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“Everywhere in the world can have bad customer service. Let’s all take a moment and realize that adults are complaining because “my ice cream didn’t turn upside down”. Please. Get a life. Or say you don’t have money. This DQ is just as fine as your McDonalds off the highway. They are quick, simple, and not disrespectful. I’ve gone here many times, never had a problem other than seeing others disturb the servers because they did get the “wight ice cweam” then cry because they think the server cant change it. “You know, I’m not the biggest fan of ice cream, but man, when I came into this Häagen-Dazs I was completely blown away. Particularly with this one worker Joselyn, as she showed me how to think about ice cream in a different way. She taught me that maybe if I tried mixing the flavors, or trying them with different toppings, I’d love the ice cream. And by god, I did! I’ll never be more thankful than for that worker Joselyn, she’ll teach you a thing or two about how to appreciate ice cream in a new way.“

“Baskin-Robbins is really good cuz it has like 31 Flavors and you get free samples for example I want to try rocky road but I didn't know if I was going to like so I said can I please have a sample and they said yeah sure and then they didn't charge me“

“We get all our birthday cakes here for years now. They have hard and soft serve. Also not just Vanilla or chocolate soft serve either. Today they had pistachio and another flavor.

Custom cakes as well as the regulars like fudgy the whale ready to go. Also UFOs and dipped cones.

“Ridgewood has a lot of ice cream but this is the first DQ. Located downtown by movie theater, it has nice amount of seating and a unisex bathroom. Well staffed. Unfortunately no parking lot per se, se be prepared to park on the street or a couple blocks away at Stop & Shop.“
