The chorizo is extra cost but very good, adds a nice zing and crisp to it. The everything bagel is also very flavorful. Best bagel I’ve had in Bayonne.“

“I can’t tell which is better, the food or service. We came in around noon on a Saturday. While it looked packed they were able to seat us the bar within 2-3 minutes of coming in, coffees served quick and the food was out in no more than 10 minutes. The vegan options are plentiful and soooo good. I had vegan salmon benedict and the missus had the vegan penny benny. It was my first time and the vegan salmon is damn good here.“

“What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. “Long review DISCLAIMER!!! I was traveling from the Carolinas to NYC and after shopping at the Linden Walmart Supercenter, I was very hungry and desired some pancakes. After scouring Google reviews for some place nearby besides Ihop to satisfy my hunger, I decided to check out Kelly's Breakfast at 159 Elmora Avenue. However, I was pressed for time on a sit down meal since I was trying to make it to Brooklyn in time to pick my Mother up from church. Well, I just happened to find myself near New Jersey this morning and wanted to still have my meal from Kelly's Breakfast. Around my morning arrival time paid street parking in front of the establishment was limited but I was able to find parking on the side street within a short walking distance. I was met with a greeting and a friendly smile as I entered and approached the counter. No, this is not a big place, but with ample seating to accommodate 2 or 4 guests at a table the vibe is inviting, warm, and relaxing! There's a TV tune to the news if you're interested! As I was dining alone I glanced to see what was the latest happenings in our world. It did not take long for my order to arrived to my table and I gave it a 10 for presentation. Also, a 10 for taste, portion size, and quality. Another 10 for CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERALL and accommodating a small request reference my phone. The prior reviews that stirred me in the direction to Kelly's Breakfast did it justice and I will continue with my 5 Stars. Kelly, who was also the hostess, is charming and checks on you to ensure everything is good. I will be back in my future travels!!!“

“Food was good, waffle and chicken was on point and fluffy. Kick axx egg Benedict with bacon was good, wish the ciabatta would hold up more, but the time I got it, it was too wet to hold its texture. Omelette was light and fresh, so customers can adjust the sodium level themselves, I like that.

We had cold brew coffee, had mine black, and it was good, acidity and taste were balanced.

Our server was friendly and attentive.
Would recommend this place for brunch, price is good for the portion received. Wish it was closer to home, def will be a spot I would frequent.

“We love Campania! We visit every time we are in Brooklyn. The food is always fresh and delicious. We get a pizza and pasta each time we go and we have never been disappointed. “I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. “This is my childhood coffee shop, they were the best then and they are the best now. The donuts are made daily, yummy. I can't leave Brooklyn without my BLT. The place is small, each table can only accommodate 4 people. The best customer service and food!“

“It’s simple, laid back, and neighborhood friendly. Just like its name it’s BASIC & honestly I like the average vibes it offers.

The giant windows allow great natural light in, and the space is rustic mixed with a bookstore. It would be great if they would place outdoor tables to invite visitors in. Honestly sometimes I can’t tell whether they are open or not….

Additionally, I do wish they offered variety such as sandwiches and dinner items and catered for longer hours until 7:30 pm. It would be ideal considering there’s a rush in the area past 6 pm. I am very curious to see how they stay afloat now with the new bagel shop down the block.

The female cashier is nice as well as the chef. The owner doesn’t show much expression or emotion, and I respect him for keeping to himself. I just hope you can keep up with the changes in the neighborhood, I’m rooting for you Basic Cafe!
