“Had dinner here and it was very tasty. The establishment interior is a small refined diner. Four booth seats bar top and two stand alone tables. The booth seating was plush and comfortable to fit up to four diners. One waitress and bartender on duty, with a small kitchen. We were sat and waited on fast, but food took sometime as the place filled up fast after. We ordered the steak and the wedge salad and fries. Took roughly 25-30 minutes for the food to come out. The Steak portion was tiny, not diner sized but to be expected for the area. The meat was tender and well seasoned the potatoes were soft and complemented the dish. The wedge salad was cheesy and well seasoned.“

Overall, a solid spot for a tasty meal if you’re in the area, just be aware of the extra charges, they will try to be sneaky.“

“Traditional old school diner with wonderful staff and very intimate. Prices and food are better than the fancier looking, large dinners in the city. The place is small but customers are wise to eat and allow others to enjoy breakfast and great burgers for lunch. Been a fixture there for years and always loved the pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Maybe I will go tomorrow.“

“This was our 3rd time visiting. We brought friends from FL and we wanted to give them an experience of a wonderful NJ diner. Food wise it was amazing but this time it was VERY loud with music and it was impossible to have a conversation. It ended up being a different experience than the one I planned because of how loud it was. Our server was great and food was delicious, but I am not sure if I would visit again because it was hard to have a conversation with people at the table.“

“Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

Selection of cocktails put a fun twist on classics without being difficult to understand. Food options have fresh sandwiches with an array of fillings and delicious entrees.

Had the hibiscus marg w/ mezcal. Fragrant and light smokiness, really refreshing. The Steak Frites was cooked really well despite some fatty pieces, crispy fries and great portion size. Salsa verde was slightly liquidy but still tasty.

Definitely recommend lunch here, bar seating is supreme.“

The door person & security were great, took a second to get in but they were polite & had to let in a few guest before me. I got to see DJ Ellie play and for a Thursday it was busy pretty early. The dj before Ellie was good, the service was fine & people were dancing. Great mood for a Thursday in lower Manhattan. I’ll have to try the food next time.“

Our waiter made sure our food was exactly what we wanted by asking intentional questions - about the chocolate milk and even how we wanted the blueberries/chocolate chips on our pancakes - also asked if we wanted our bacon crispier or not when our plates came out. Well prepared but hardly sufficient for a grown man. Partner had the pressed chicken that was dry. If they catered for meat eaters by having a carnivore appetizer and more substantial steak I'd return. Service and ambiance very nice.“

What really made Little Purity stand out was the stupendous family staff - warm, friendly, kind, and funny too! Had very enjoyable conversation with our servers, and you can tell that they put care into all of their interactions. My partner left her hat inside, and he ran out after us to return it! During that time someone on the street called out to him and our server knew him by name - this further goes to show that these people truly care about their customers and their neighborhood. “Delicious food and authentic NJ diner experience at Seaport Diner!! I got the Reuben sandwich with fries, it was huge and had amazing flavor - the corned beef was tender, the cheese melty, rye bread was toasty, and the sauerkraut with Russian dressing made it perfect. Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious. The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating. I definitely recommend Seaport Diner - we will be back!!“
