“I like the place, it's definitely as advertised Dominican food. I had a steak and onion meal and it was fairly good. The cut had a little muscle which normally you don't get with that cut but it was fine. They only had two avocados and they were not ready so they didn't serve them which was nice but it would have been nice if they had it. The drink selection is somewhat Limited, and they do not have a liquor license.The server spoke English in Spanish was gentle on the eyes and attentive to our needs. Perfect service.The place at the time was somewhat empty for no good reason maybe it just looked that way because it's very large. The area is very clean and was comfortable to eat in. I like how many windows there are.

Parking: There are meters outside which depending on the time you may or may not have to pay.

“Awesome first time here! Chef Jason and staff were extremely helpful. I tried their Lomo Saltado bowl. He gave me a sample of their pulled pork, carne asada, and chicken. They are slow cooked for a few hours. Everything was delicious and top tier! I will be coming back for sure!!!“

The portions are extremely generous and fairly priced. The lunch size foods can feed up to three people. “The decor at this morsel of Costa Rican culture is aesthetically pleasing and if you’re in the area, this is one of the better Tico spots. We watched Costa Rica beat Paraguay in a Copa America game while eating pupusas, un Casado and Tacos Ticos and totally hit the spot. Especially since they served some salsa Lizano on the side.“

Both had great flavor for great prices and was clearly homemade with whole food. Sauces that accompanied the bowls were vibrant. The owner and team were very welcoming and it was clear they were passionate about their food.

I love the Cuban sandwich here and the owner makes the mustard himself too apparently! Great w Yuca fries (comes w white sauce) and Plantains.

The Pernil Combo was great as well. Tender pull-apart pork, paired with Hot sauce (self-serve)

The only thing is that the menu looks slightly overwhelming without many pictures but don't let that discourage you“

“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I highly recommend if you want Colombian Food or soup this place will suffice.

“I was looking for a specific type of soup, called a lot of the Spanish restaurants no one made it. Found this restaurant and from the first phone call they are truly amazing. They were very attentive to what I wanted. Quick and efficient. Another time I went to the place to place my order, even better the young lady was super sweet and the man there was so attentive to my order. Will definitely keep on ordering. Even the empanadas were made fresh. Small restaurant but excellent customer service! I ordered asopao de camarones!“

I love that's it's most likely family owned as we own a family owned business also. We love to give our business to small local businesses. “Since the most rated diners were like a 30 minute walk from Hoboken’s train station I would definitely recommend this place if you need something quick and nearby. I love Hispanic food, but this food was perfect! I got their breakfast French toast and my sister got their pancakes. I swear these typical sweet/bread type breakfast foods are not my thing yet the way they made them tasted so different and flavorful, for me this was unique. There Cuban empanadas are very savory, especially with the sauces they provide. My only critique is that lemonade, as it’s very bitter bc it had lime and it’s not sweet at all. The lemonade is $7.30 with card, and my meal was $9.99. Our server was very sweet, I would recommend coming here to have sweet/savory options met here. Also to me breakfast here is very affordable because with me and my sisters (3 people) our bill came to $56 with card, so most places in Hoboken are pricey but this place can offer what you need at an affordable price.“
