“Date night at the Rabbit Hole! Reservations were easy to make and our hostess was very kind and quick to seat us. Our server, John, was incredibly friendly, explained all the specials, and gave great recommendations. He had a wonderful sense of humor too! The vibes were awesome - loved the wonderland theming and the moody lighting. Great date spot! The food was definitely a highlight. We got the lobster mac (which was made with risotto) and the ricotta and sausage pizza. Would definitely recommend both. The cocktails were beautiful and creative. We will definitely be returning!“

We tried several, and seriously each one was SOOO GOOD!!! I'm a huge fan of Detroit style pizza, and it was cooked to perfection! Dessert was absolutely phenomenal as well! “Just had the best experience with ladyfingers! I had a birthday party for my daughter and they provided a two tier cake and a coffee bar. Lauren was very responsive from start to finish. I was able to pick the flavors and filings for each tier off their long list of options. I didn’t have much time to look for a cake design so just sent over a photo of a cake that I quickly googled. They were able to create it, and even better, they added a customized cake topper with my daughter’s name. They also delivered it to the venue which was very important to me since I didn’t want to deal with picking up a big cake from a bakery and making sure it didn’t get ruined during an already busy day. At the party they provided us with a “coffee bar” serving up a variety of flavored hot and iced coffee & chai. The guests loved this! Many drove from far so a coffee option was exactly what the needed upon arrival. The onsite team was great, arrived early to setup, and went above and beyond by lending me a cake stand and having ice delivered for us when we were unable to get any because it happened to be sold out everywhere near by. Overall great experience and would highly recommend them!“

“The inside was busy but had a really cozy feel - definitely geared toward a more mature crowd compared to downtown Grove Street on a Friday night.

The prices were on the higher side but not over the top. But sitting outside worked perfectly, for a girls night.

The bartender knows what he's doing with the cocktails, the food was amazing, & our waiter was great - honestly, no complaints.

We were a group of 10 from NH looking for a place for dinner before the show. Max raved about the food at the Millburn Standard and recommended we go there. The staff was friendly, very accommodating to our large party (we did call for reservations, but they don’t take them) and the food was excellent (get the nachos!) Cocktails are to die for and the bartenders are so friendly. For old fashion fans, you MUST try “the smokem’ if you gottem”absolutely delicious.

The Junto opens at 6, but I would advise you to arrive 15 minutes early, there is always a line and it is first come first serve….for a good reason.“

“We are BEYOND ECSTATIC with our wedding cake and all other pastries and desserts provided by Calandra’s Bakery! No other bakery bakes your cake at 3:00AM the day of your wedding and it shows! Super fresh moist and SUPER DELICIOUS! Every guests commented about the spectacular presentation…simple yet elegant carrying our live orchid theme with LIFELIKE piped orchid petals cascading down each layer! What a joy to have such an unforgettable and memorable experience of knowing our family and friends will remember our wedding cake as much as we will! We had the choice of several bakeries but must end by telling this story…we had checked out a couple of bakeries but after a final wedding gown fitting we decided to visit Calandras. Unannounced we asked to see the person who could help us with our wedding cake. Calandra’s is an incredible “complex” and was extremely busy place but we were directed to Aisha Maliki. Aisha dropped everything presented us with an exquisite tray of every wedding cake option in bite size proportions all fresh and delicious. The best time to go is at around 3:00. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately.
As soon as we ordered our food, it was on our table within 7 minutes.
Our waiter was very kind!
I highly recommend the Rainbow roll and the Kinya Ramen bowl.
The serving sizes are large and more than enough for one person.
My boyfriend and I plan to return for the excellent food and upstanding service.

There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. “I celebrated my friend’s birthday at this cute hidden speakeasy bar in Jersey City. This candlelit lounge is dark and moody with art deco vibes.

The food was good, we ordered the Jerk Lamb Dumplings, Wagyu Sliders, Wings and Truffle Fries. We also had a couple of drink’s the Number Forty-one, Number Thirty-Four, and Number Thirty-six were strong, tasty, and had custom ice blocks.

My only reason for giving this bar a 4 star rating is the cocktails are expensive starting at $20.00 per drink?. The fact that Jersey City is charging NYC prices is ridiculous.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this speakeasy for girls night out + date night to grab one cocktail and take cute pictures.“
