“Wow! Had an outstanding night at the Roxy and I think it’s been my best bite in JC.
Service was incredible, friendly, and attentive. We did go at an off peak time, so we got extra special service. However, I think at any time the service would be top notch.
The cocktails were excellent. Extremely balanced, delicious and amazingly seasonal.
The food was soooo good. I had the short rib special and I highly recommend it while it’s available. Absolutely delicious and the best short rib dish I’ve had.
I can’t wait to return!“

“So glad I stopped in!! $39 for a full bottle of Malbec Red Wine!!! 🤯 If I was heading home, I'd have grabbed a bottle or two of the other wine offerings to go!! The prices are insanely good for wine and food! The arugula salad ($20) with tuna ($6) was delicious and had SO MUCH fresh avocado in it!!! Mauricio came by to clean up my plates quickly and offer me water! Ian was a fantastic waiter who had a contagious upbeat attitude and did a fun show of opening the wine and serving me in general!!!! Also, the cheesecake is sooo good!!!“

“Service was impeccable-always had someone nearby if we needed something but not hovering. Food was delicious. We had the duck croquettes, Brussels sprouts, and bolognese pasta. The croquettes were our favorite but the sprouts and pasta were amazing too. Excited to go back for brunch sometime!“
“Burley is absolutely amazing!!!!! 1. The ambiance of her establishment is such a vibe from the decor to her choice in music. 2. The charcuterie plates provide were fresh and delish ( not to mention she inquired about possible food allergies and dietary needs) which was a plus as my girlfriend and I do not eat meat. 3 this is experience surpasses your typical wine tasting IT IS INFORMATIVE! Baby when I say I learned so much about wine I was so oblivious to lol. I will definitely recommend this place and will be returning as soon as I can ☺️ Burley keep doing your thing queen“

“Another great dinner at the Capital Grille. Our server Adrian, assited by Benny, was attentive, but didnt 'hover. Our food was prepared perfectly, steak cooked as desired, sides and drinks to even accomodate a food sensitivity. We travel often and really appreciate how the Capital Grille is a reliable choice, always delivering the classics.“

“My friends & I went to Vinoteca last week and had such a wonderful time. The wine is very refreshing & delicious!! I love the fact that it’s self-served. To top it off, the food was out of this world!!! The staff was very kind & attentive and I would recommend Vinoteca to all, but, most importantly to all the wine lovers. You would soon make this your to go to place. We had such a great time last week, we will be doing it again this weekend. Come along, hopefully I’ll see you there!!“

The food is always very good, and the service is pleasant, courteous, and very efficient. “Probably the coolest vibes outside of the West Village—and it’s right in the heart of JC. Frankie’s is an effortlessly stylish Australian spot that feels like a hidden gem but delivers like a destination. Whether you’re trying to impress out-of-towners or a date, this place hits the mark.
Drinks? Solid across the board. The Lovely Creature—served in a whimsical frog mug—is a spicy mezcal punch that feels tailor-made for a boat cruise or summer rooftop hang. But the standout is Let’s Stay Together—an unbelievable old fashioned that balances depth, smoothness, and just the right twist to make you rethink what an old fashioned can be.
Food-wise, don’t skip the kimchi fried chicken. It’s crispy, punchy, and totally worthy of main dish status. Sit at the bar if you can—it’s the best seat in the house to soak in the atmosphere, the music, and the laid-back but elevated energy.

“Emily was an excellent waitress—kind, attentive, and clearly very skilled at her job. Her service was outstanding and made the experience enjoyable. Overall, everything was quite good. The Tomahawk for two had great flavor, though it was a bit fatty in several areas. As a thoughtful touch, Emily even offered me a dessert to go, which I really appreciated. As for the sides, the mashed potatoes could have been better—they didn't seem freshly made—and the mac & cheese could've used a bit more attention to bring out its full potential.“

I am so surprised that I haven’t been to Mandara’s before considering that I have been frequenting the Essex County area for the past four years. Decided to go for dinner tonight and we can’t wait to come back!
Highlights:
You HAVE to try the pizza, one of the best margherita pizza’s in this area and the chicken marsala was phenomenal! The portions are generous!!
The service was amazing, our waiter came by to check in on us at appropriate times, they brought over extra napkins without us even having to ask, and were attentive to our requests.
Overall, ambiance was amazing, great food with huge portions, and amazing staff!“

Linda is my favorite bartender she always remembers my drink and food order, always friendly and warm, and goes out of her way to make me my own olive oil sauce to dip the bread in!! “If you’re looking for old school Italian, this is a great spot. They made it easy to schedule a work dinner for 9 people, and the service was quick and accurate. The Caesar salad was extremely tasty, as was my pasta dish, albeit a tad salty. The front bar area is also cozy and casual, so it’s a great place for an after work cocktail.

“PF Market is a good restaurant for the price; the service is fine, the ambiance is fine....nothing special. The food was ok...Chilean sea bass excellent, cod and stuffed flounder very good. Shrimp parmigiana overcooked but still fine. Not 5 star but perfectly fine meal.“

“We celebrated Father's Day with Moonshine's Sunday Brunch. It was an incredible selection - really a great value. Steak and Eggs, Lobster Benedict, Banana Bread... all must haves. The wait staff was wonderful, friendly, and responsive. I was definitely impressed and will be returning.“
