“NOTHING... The service was horrible and the wait time incredibly long. Then on top of all that they AUTOMATICALLY added a 20% gratuity to our bill and when the bill came there was a space to add a gratuity... so if you don't look at your bill and just add the gratuity you got RIPPED OFF“

“This place is truly one of the best parts of Rockaway. I work at the doctor's office up the street from it and we order take out a lot. They serve all the classic bar favorites to perfection! The juicy burgers are fresh and absolutely fantastic...and OMG the cheesesteak is AWESOME!!!!! But what really makes this place standout are the people behind all of it. Bridgett, the owner, is genuinely one of the loveliest and most accommodating people you'll ever meet. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell that she puts her heart into the place. She will personally deliver our food to our office every single time because we are so busy. And Myles deserves a huge shout-out. That man can cook a burger like nobody else, and the cheesesteak he puts out is honestly next-level! You can taste the care and skill in every bite of it. It's disappointing to see a few unfair reviews floating around, because they don't reflect the real experience here. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly GREAT people. The Mill deserves all the support in the world!“

I want to add that I had my husband’s 50th birthday party there and they did an outstanding job making it happen. Karen and Sam Made some amazing food and they were so attentive to my guests. The bartenders, Kyle and Jo Jo Rocked it they made amazing drinks and Kept them coming to the birthday boy the Whole day.

But what’s even more special and means the world to me is that the staff that was not working that day came to hang out and help me set up and enjoy my husband’s 50th with us. Literally, family, and good friends at this bar. If you’re looking for a local bar to frequent to get good food, drinks and make outstanding friendships. I highly recommend you come down and see Dave, Denise, JoJo, Kim, Kyle, Elaine and Alison. Heck, you’ll probably meet me too. I’m the girl with the bow. That’s always at the bar.“

“Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.

While the outdoor crowd was a bit lighter at times, every time we came inside we were met with so many compliments and such a warm responseit truly meant a lot. The staff, security, and patrons were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the owner made sure we were well taken care of throughout the event. We’re grateful for the experience and hope to be back again“

Went on my own, bartender was nice.
Gave really good beer suggestions: fruity but non sweet IPA, and another lemon beer.

Music was really good. There was karaoke that night too (Thursday).

There were a variety of ages, from 20s to 50s and even 60s, everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves.

They have different events and bands throughout the month so defo check them out.

“We had such an amazing experience at The Second Half on Main this weekend. We called for a reservation for 7 people on a Saturday night, and they were beyond accommodating. They took us in just 30 minutes before closing and never once made us feel rushed, which honestly says a lot because most places start stacking chairs and spiritually evicting you the second the clock hits closing time.

The food was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We ordered French onion soups, a Caesar salad for the table, calamari, and everyone got different entrees and drinks. Every single thing was delicious. Not one complaint from anyone at the table, which for a group of humans is basically a statistical miracle.

Our waiter Mike, aka “Buckets,” was incredible the entire night. He never stopped moving, stayed on top of everything, and still made time to go around wishing other tables a Happy Mother’s Day, which was genuinely very sweet to see. You could tell he was working his ass off, but he never stopped smiling and made the whole experience even better. Another gentleman helping him named Matt was also fantastic and super attentive.

We will 100% be back and honestly cannot wait to see everyone again. We’re even considering using them for our friend’s bridal shower this winter because the service, atmosphere, and food were all that good. Highly recommend!“

“We were here last week while attending the Chill Out Expo. At first we were just getting drinks at the bar but then we all got hungry and decided to try out the food. Despite being completely slammed with so many people who were attending the expo, the service was quick and courteous. The Guinness cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I've ever had! My husband also had a burger and the kids got 12 oz strip steaks cooked and seasoned to perfection. After I left I ordered up some Colman's mustard that they have on the table. That stuff is great! I only wish this place was in closer proximity to where I live because the food is amazing and I would love to try it all. Also we loved reading the historic plaques telling us about the history of the pub. It was a wonderful experience!“

From the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating and attentive to every detail. They went above and beyond to help bring my vision to life, including customizing the napkin colors to match my baby shower theme, adjusting the icing color for my cake, and arranging the room exactly how I wanted it.

They were also very flexible with both setup and cleanup times, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. The service throughout the event was exceptional—every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. There was plenty of space to have tables for gifts, desserts, favors, raffle/games, and food.

The food was outstanding and one of the highlights of the day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was, and it was such a thoughtful touch that they allowed guests to take leftovers home.
