“NOTHING... The service was horrible and the wait time incredibly long. Then on top of all that they AUTOMATICALLY added a 20% gratuity to our bill and when the bill came there was a space to add a gratuity... so if you don't look at your bill and just add the gratuity you got RIPPED OFF“

“This place is truly one of the best parts of Rockaway. I work at the doctor's office up the street from it and we order take out a lot. They serve all the classic bar favorites to perfection! The juicy burgers are fresh and absolutely fantastic...and OMG the cheesesteak is AWESOME!!!!! But what really makes this place standout are the people behind all of it. Bridgett, the owner, is genuinely one of the loveliest and most accommodating people you'll ever meet. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and you can tell that she puts her heart into the place. She will personally deliver our food to our office every single time because we are so busy. And Myles deserves a huge shout-out. That man can cook a burger like nobody else, and the cheesesteak he puts out is honestly next-level! You can taste the care and skill in every bite of it. It's disappointing to see a few unfair reviews floating around, because they don't reflect the real experience here. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly GREAT people. The Mill deserves all the support in the world!“

I want to add that I had my husband’s 50th birthday party there and they did an outstanding job making it happen. Karen and Sam Made some amazing food and they were so attentive to my guests. The bartenders, Kyle and Jo Jo Rocked it they made amazing drinks and Kept them coming to the birthday boy the Whole day.

But what’s even more special and means the world to me is that the staff that was not working that day came to hang out and help me set up and enjoy my husband’s 50th with us. Literally, family, and good friends at this bar. If you’re looking for a local bar to frequent to get good food, drinks and make outstanding friendships. I highly recommend you come down and see Dave, Denise, JoJo, Kim, Kyle, Elaine and Alison. Heck, you’ll probably meet me too. I’m the girl with the bow. That’s always at the bar.“

“Had a great time tonight having dinner with a friend of mine. Phenomenal chicken salad grilled with balsamic dressing and also the amazing homemade chili. “There aren’t enough nice things to say about Pompton Craft House. The beers on tap are fresh and constantly changing. There’s an amazing selection of perfectly curated, delicious wine for an amazing price. The wine tasting machines are SO COOL. John and the staff are incredibly nice, helpful, and fun to talk to. “Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.

“I’ve been to The Side Door before, but I’ve never had a bartender like Crystal. She is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had! I originally stopped by for just one quick birthday drink, but her friendly personality, great energy, and amazing service convinced us to stay much longer than we planned. We ended up spending way more than we expected, and it was worth every penny because she made the whole experience so much fun.

I was honestly surprised to find out she’s a new bartender here because she made it feel like she’d been doing it for years. She was attentive, welcoming, and knew exactly how to keep the good vibes going.

Crystal truly made my birthday drinks memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending The Side Door to all of my friends—as long as Crystal is behind the bar! 10/10 experience.“

Gave really good beer suggestions: fruity but non sweet IPA, and another lemon beer.

Music was really good. There was karaoke that night too (Thursday).

There were a variety of ages, from 20s to 50s and even 60s, everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves.

They have different events and bands throughout the month so defo check them out.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I finally walked in. The decor and ambiance are fantastic; you can really tell the woodwork and furnishings were crafted in Ireland, shipped over, and reassembled to create a genuinely authentic pub atmosphere.
The service from Michael was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was very good as well, making it an ideal venue for a quiet business lunch. I will definitely be back soon, and I am looking forward to trying it out on the weekend for a date night!“

“October feast was great except for the beer lines. Could have done better maybe more then one beer truck or people walking around handing out the beer for tickets. Beer was 6 tickets, should have sold one ticket for beer rather then counting out 6 one dollar tickets. Music was great“

Happy hour is always a great value and the mixup of seasonal cocktails means you often have something new to try, pair that with food and your in for a good cozy night out. Highly recommend and Dan and Caitlyn in the bar are fantastic and the whole staff is so attentive and ready to help!“

“In desperate need of dinner for two young children on a multi-day roadtrip, we pulled off the highway not realizing this was mostly a bar. It was PERFECT. The ladies behind the bar found us a low table that fit the girls and provided prompt service. We ordered sliders and cheese quesadilla for the girls, which they naturally refused to eat (yay kids) but I am glad we got to try it because they were fantasticly delicious! The waitstaff were so kind to us and the girls! The food is INCREDIBLE. The bathroom was VERY clean which was a relief after roadtrip stops in... less clean places. I highly recommend this stop for anyone in need of a quick bite just off the highway!“
