“Calos Restaurant never disappoints! My absolute favorite is the linguine garlic with chicken and broccoli (yes, a custom order and they always get it perfect 🙌). The calamari is hands down the best, and they even offer a gluten-free option! And let’s talk about the drinks… Omg amazing. The mango lemonade and mango tea are my go-to favorites. 🥭✨ The arugula salad is to die for, and if you’re looking for a weekend treat, their brunch menu is pretty great too! Fresh, flavorful, and always made with love. A must-visit spot in North Arlington!“

Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “I won’t lie, I took my partner here as a surprise after he got into the car and I had the very Kitchen Nightmare episode this restaurant was featured in. You know, the episode with Bobby the gangsta executive chef who was making $100,000?

It was a great episode, but the owners looked like very good people. Even though it’s been a couple years, I discovered Bask46 was not only still open, but thriving.

We didn’t get to set at Gordon’s booth, but we were right next to it. The service and food were fantastic!

My partner got the tacos, which he loved (the portions look bigger than what Gordon has suggested). I had the 46 burger. The first half tasted bland, but it seems because all the flavor was just on the other side — and when I hit that, I loved it.

The potato skins appetizer was OK, but still we had a great experience.

It was a Sunday night so we didn’t expect to see the owners, but we still had a great time, and it looked like things were running smoothly.

Fun experience, and who knows, maybe we’ll trek back again. Bask46 is one of the rare Ramsay success stories, and it truly is a success.“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. The olives were hard, and the drink had small ice chips in it, which made for a less-than-enjoyable experience. I ended up switching to red wine, which was delicious and much better. For appetizers, we had the octopus — very flavorful! While the octopus was a bit chewy, the taste was excellent. The oysters were outstanding — I honestly wanted more and more of them. For the main course, we both had the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and paired with chimichurri sauce — a perfect match. The mashed potatoes were some of the best we've ever had. On the other hand, skip the creamed spinach — it lacked flavor and was quite bland. We finished with the carrot cake. The portion is huge, and while it was okay, it wasn't anything special. Overall, it's a great spot. We'll definitely be back, just with a few different menu choices next time.“

“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“I have never been an Applebees person but I went there with my granddaughter and found that the food menu is better than it used to be. I had the shrimp and sausage with penne pasta. SO GOOD…
The drinks are still a bit “weak” but they were good tasting. The service was good too considering that our waiter had a whole section to work by himself.
Overall, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I will be returning again.“

“Tops is one of my go to places where I can always find what I want. Food is good, service is food. I only gave atmosphere a 4 because the DJ today was way too loud couldn't have a conversation with my husband over the noise. My first time experiencing this at Tops. I hope it was a one time thing.“

“Westayed at the Holiday Inn before our cruise and liked the convenience of an on-site bar/restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly hostess. The restaurant had great modern vibe with good music & decor. The service was on point and our food & drinks were really good! Portions were generous & prices were reasonable especially for an airport near New York. We ordered the calamari to share which was my husband's favorite. Then he ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and I ordered the Mediterranean salad added falafel & house made blue cheese dressing & they also brought the vinaigrette which I am glad they did as it really made the dish. “I rented here for one year and I had no issues with my apartment. I felt the price was fair for the fact that it was furnished, with all utilities included, and had a gym that I used often over the year. It is also within walking distance (7-10 minutes) to Newark Penn Station. Parking was not included but I knew this before renting. I paid $250 per month to park in a lot right across the street.

This would be a 5-star review if not for the prolonged process for receiving my security deposit which dragged out over 30 days as others have mentioned. However, Maurice the current manager communicated extremely well and kept following up until it was ultimately returned to me in full.“
