“We tried Hook & Reel for the first time and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later. The food was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

“We had dinner at Ruby Tuesday in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and were lucky enough to have Bella as our waitress. She told us right away that she was new and still in training, so my sister and I joked that we'd be extra nice to her—but honestly, she didn't need any extra help!

Bella was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire meal. She took our drink order promptly, answered all of our questions about the menu with confidence, and kept a close eye on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. “My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. We recommend it highly and urge lovers of fine dining to not wait but reserve a table NOW. We're sure you'll find it to be as special as we do.“

“Kudos go out to the Marina Cafe for doing Thanksgiving up right! No wonder the restaurant was packed today. A wide variety of plates to choose from today, making it hard to decide. We went with the Turkey Dinner and it was perfect. What a tender bird, roasted perfectly. The tiramisu at the end was the cherry on the cake. Best I ever had! I know sometimes it's hit or miss when you go out to eat on a holiday! Not the case at the Marina Cafe! And of course, the view can't be beat! ? — at Marina Cafe.“

The app was mussels in a garlic wine sauce, very meaty and tasty. The meal was very good, had the Grilled Jumbo shrimp, with traditional chips. Should have requested the saffron rice side, which I do like. The vegetables were slightly overcooked, but tasty. The creamy cheesecake was outstanding! The Pinot Noir average but nice. Overall, I'd definitely recommend.“
