“Went for a seafood boil and food was good the flavors were good. The only problem was the girl at the front. She's frumpy looking. Acted like I was bothering her when I wanted to pay. She's so relaxed and it's not a good look to paying customers. She never came back to check on us. She just had a whatever attitude.“

Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. Fresh, perfectly prepared dishes that always allow the seafood to shine. Fried or broiled flounder and any kind of shrimp are a personal favorite. I always judge a restaurant by it’s side salad and here it’s never an afterthought, fresh and so tasty - they should bottle their house dressing it’s off the chart.“

Both came out promptly. It was amazing, the best pizza I’ve had in years. I can’t say too many good things about it. Everything was in perfect harmony, a symphony of umami and cheese. Meatballs, sausage, bacon. It had it all. Each bite a delight. My wife also loved her pizza. We stopped in on a Monday on the way up north for a show. There were a few tables occupied but I would imagine it probably gets busy on weekends. The price is on the higher side, but I rather enjoy good with excellent customer service; rather than cheap food with horrible service! I have a feeling because of the price I will not be able to come on a regular basis but whenever I wanna treat myself with good food , this will be my go to place. So glad I don't have to travel 3 hours just to go on a different borough to get good halal food.
