“This has been my second time ordering from this place. Everything is so fresh, And the best part is that they toast the bread, whereas other jersey Mike’s don’t. “It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

At other sandwich shops, we usually buy a whole sandwich and split it into two meals each. Here, we’ll easily get four meals because of the generous size. In September 1990 I moved from Newark to Kearny and on that weekend I experienced the great subs and service at D&F deli and was very happy. 35 years later it's the same, maybe even better. I'm diabetic now so I can't enjoy bread as much as I would like but the staff is kind and make a sub salad for me. I go in the later afternoon and it's a virtual all star team that serves as the staff. Anthony, Justin, Brandon, Emily and Debi are unique wonderful human beings who make everyone feel like family. The person who helps make these individual all stars into a cohesive team of Avengers is their inspirational leader Zack. He's the straw that stirs the drink. Zack serves as a mainspring does in an old fashioned watch and keeps everything working perfectly. Zack is a very kind human being with a big heart, the size of a 6 foot sub. Highest possible recommendation for D&F deli. Go there, you'll be happy you did.“

“I order online every time. I got a cookie last time, and holy cow, it's ridiculously good. The brownie tastes better when it's crunchier (I put mine in the fridge). Parking: Parking is so bad if you don't have a small car. Very tight lot, and at peak time, you won't find space. Highly recommend you come when it isn't busy, or get takeout.
