“Stopped in 90min before closing, around 5pm. First off, everything on the menu sounded really good and my wife were kind of torn... The owner literally immediately engaged us and was like "tell me what you're feelin?" - this gentleman steered us to sandwich paradise ?

We decided to split a large classic Italian sub with a couple changes and ended up with a 12" sub (but I'd bet someone it was more like 14") with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Added lettuce/tom/oil/vinegar/mayo with salt n pepper and some oregano. The cost was $17.05 ($8.50 all in with tax each if splitting) and this bad boy was plenty for the two of us!

They *only* use Boars Head meats/cheeses and let me tell you, it absolutely SHOWED!! High quality ingredients result in a high quality product and this was no exception! It was the absolute best f***ing sandwich either of us have had in a long time! This guy was a true artisan and master of his craft!

Stop in and get an Italian sub and I promise that not only will you not be disappointed but you'll be amazed and enjoy the best sandwich you've had in recent memory!

We plan on going back again real soon to try the Philly cheese steak, get another Italian sub and try the Mac salad which also looked amazing. Will update this review or post another one when we do!

“Welcome to Montclair Tony Boys! Had the pleasure of stopping by here yesterday to try out one of many sandwich options on their menu. Opted for the avocado toast & a side of fries & it didn’t disappoint. Was filling without being too heavy & very tasty! The fries were also not oily or greasy. Browsing the menu you’ll find alot of different flavors & combos…and the manager also shared that all the cutlet options can be created with an eggplant substitute! Definitely give this place a try. The vibe is chill & artsy, lots of seating, great central location & 3 parking lots within a 5 min walk. You definitely won’t regret it :)“

“Great place owner is pretty cool . I had a reuben and a Italian sandwich. The Italian sandwich was my favorite more than the reuben very fresh. Parking is very hard to find I would recommend calling in advance and placing an order. For two Reuben’s and a Italian sandwich came to $39. I would definitely say give it a try!“

“I would bring a bus group from the Detroit area every year before the pandemic for tours in the New York area.
I would have to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different choices.
Our bus wouldn't arrive to our hotel until after 8:00 pm
(after your normal business hours)
Upon our arrival, someone would deliver our lunches that evening for the next day.
I have always appreciated the extra mile that they went for our bus group.

“Everything is good but the owner has to fix the toilet flapped chain. This is the second time in 2 months that I’ve been there and I found the bowl of the toilet dirty because the chain of the toilet’s handle don’t pull nothing. Also, the liquid soap bottle is empty and the paper toilet dispenser is empty.

“It had been a little bit since we've been in (life gets in the way sometimes) but as soon as my husband & I walked in the door we were hit with that heavenly Blimpies scent of fresh ingredients that is indicative of Blimpies & Blimpies alone. It just smells like delicious subs. We realized, after speaking to the wonderful owner, that we've been getting the BEST subs in the world at this location for over 40 years! My pick is a "Blimpies Best" (extra oil & vinegar) honestly it was perfect. My husband gets a turkey & provolone which was terrific (he gave me puppy dog eyes & got a huge chunk of mine too)
Eateries come & go but the best stay, this is worthy of place in your rotation.
I should also say that I live in Nutley with quite a few Italian delis & pizzerias so if I'm saying the Italian sub (Blimpies Best) is terrific that's saying a lot.“

“This was such a nostalgic trip. I was so happy they were open and available. If you are looking for a good sandwich, head over to this Blimpie. The team that was working on Sunday November 3, 2024 mid day was excellent. There was so much love in my sandwich. It smiled at me when I opened it. “Always a great experience at this location, staff are friendly. And I'm in and out quickly. The bathrooms are clean, and there's always good parking. We stop by on our drive from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania and this spot is really conveniently located off of i280. The only friendly suggestion I'd provide for the helpful staff and management is the more junior staff should always ask if someone wants anything else after asking if you want it mikes way (yes I do, and then I want mayo and such). Otherwise, incredible place.

Onions are shaved, lettuce Shredded, nice size tomato, oil vinegar, and seasonings. Boom! It's perfection. The wrap was fairly mid. The wrap itself tasted a bit stale, and lowers my score greatly. The meats and veggies were pretty good, and tasted fresh. The staff was really nice and attentive, they made sure my order was correct. They thought I was a Jersey Mike’s lifer because the item I ordered isn’t on their menu, it’s kind of a secret menu option. The brownie was ok too, prob wouldn’t get it again. All in all, this experience was fairly mid, and the staff and atmosphere greatly impacts my total score.“
