“We always enjoy our meals at Indian kitchen and Grill. Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. We have many favorite dishes @ we especially love the thickness & taste of the raita. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we also enjoyed it 25 years ago when it was Begum Palace. The owners make us feel like family.“

“I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The Vada Pav was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and tasted just like authentic street food from India. The Tawa Chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with rich spices. Every bite was full of authentic taste.
The service was outstanding. The staff was warm, friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food arrived quickly, and the overall dining experience was excellent.“

“Excellent customer service from everyone.When I called to reserve the table Ashishbhai was so polite & send me confirmation text. When I went he personally came & show the table even though He was not working at my table. Pratikbhai is excellent every time. He ask the taste & bring the same taste food. Jambu was so good even he knows what I ordered last time & he brought same order I liked in past. Food is excellent, Everyone liked all the food . I really loved to go for dinner , I wish I have the same service in Paramus.Good luck!!!!“

“Tried it for the first time and it was soooooo goooood I can’t believe I just discovered this place. We tried the Chicken 65 and it was absolutely delicious and perfect amount of spicy. We also ordered the Chili Chicken and Butter Chicken, both spicy and it was amazing. The garlic naan was perfect, and the service was great too. I will be coming back many more times lol.“

BayLeaf exceeded every expectation
The goat curry was outstanding 10/10
The chicken biryani and mutton biryani were authentic and perfectly spiced 8/10
The naan was fresh and perfect 10/10
What sets BayLeaf apart is that each dish has its own distinct flavor and character, rather than tasting like it comes from the same base gravy, which was exactly the problem at India Garden in Traverse City
BayLeaf feels like a true representation of Indian cuisine, with authentic flavors done right
The service was impeccable, the portion sizes generous, and the pricing was excellent for the quality
If you’re craving authentic Indian food, B Leaf is an absolute must visit, and we’d happily make the trip again just to eat here“

“First time in 30 plus years, I ordered in Onasadya from Aroma in Warren….it was amazing! The curries tasted exceptional and the payasams were yum yummy! We loved it! “So glad that we have Indian Xpress in short hills, we have missed having an Indian restaurant here. They are an extension of Raaz in jersey city. And we have always loved Raaz’s food. Delicious and authentic North Indian food. Great food and Great Service!!! Highly recommended“
“This place slaps. It's been my go-to Indian restaurant for several years now, starting back when it was called Clove Garden. Their food is always on point, and the prices are really reasonable relative to other restaurants in the area. So many vegan and vegetarian options. Some favorites are the dal tadka and the aloo palak, but you really can't go wrong. There are a couple of small tables inside, though it's mostly a takeout place. Everyone is always really nice when I pick up my food. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!!“

“Insanely incredible Indian food for extremely reasonable price!! Go for the all you can eat lunch buffet and put a little bit of everything on your plate and I promise you will not be disappointed. A special thanks to Sajan and Mathi for being extremely helpful, accommodating, and supportive throughout the event planning and party. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

“Holy moly hands down the best Indian food outside of India! Do not hesitate to come here, you will be Soooooo glad you did. We had chicken 65, chicken Kashmiri and sag paneer. We also had a naan type bread that was stuffed with meat and cheese. We could not stop drooling before during and after our meal. GO HERE!“

“Everything was divinely delicious! I highly recommend both the crab and spinach with goat cheese appetizers! The seasoning on the entress was amazing, you can taste every spice! Truly delicious is an understatement! As for dessert, I can't recall what the exact name is but it's a lentil based pudding and omg, pure heaven! The service, the atmosphere, the people, the place, the music, the cleanliness.....I absolutely loved it all! I adore this place! Can't wait to go back, every blessing for the new year guys! This place is top notch, and as a Greek who grew up in the restaurants (and is def a food snob) that's a huge compliment! I wouldn't just say that about any place, you guys sincerely deserve it! “Came here for the first time- we’re Vegans, and sometimes it’s difficult to find an Indian restaurant that has many vegan options. The staff went out of their way to help us find the vegan options on the menu, and when they were out of some ingredients to make certain dishes (it’s Diwali, and so it’s a busy time of year) that featured mushrooms and tofu, they actually custom created a dish so that we could try more of what they have to offer. A great experience, and will definitely be coming back!

“We beat the rush. Cane in and ordered sat down and with in 15 mins had our food. There were those who ordered on line. The rush was so great some waited an hour before getting their order. We came in at 5:30. If you seriously need your order. Order between 5:00pm & 5:30pm or after 7pm. If you Can hold Out. LaZeez was that slammed. They with a full staff were that overwhelmed. Good food, great service. But choose your time in going. They only have so much room for flexibility. Maybe they need to buy the place next door and expand there kitchen?“
