“Beautiful decor on the inside. Restaurant gets busy so make reservation just in case! Had dinner Monday night and Ashley was amazing. The sake warrior is like a limey summer refresher. Just with a little twist. Really good! Shrimp dumplings are so bomb, as well as the sesame chicken and glass noodle. Great service.“

“I ordered lunch - Hunan Beef, good portion for lunch, comes with fried rice, a soup, crackers and a fortune cookie. The Hunan beef is very good. The price is less than $9. Next time I might choose white rice instead of fried rice. Budget place for lunch.“

“Stopped on a whim coming through town. Was SO glad we did! Server was beyond prompt and working his tail off. Food arrived quickly and the portions were huge! Was able to take a doggie bag that was our next meal. We were out the door for $30 which included a respectable tip. He had the broccoli beef plate, I had the beef lo mein. We split a cup of egg drop soup. Highly recommend!“

I visited Thailand and tried to find someplace with a similar kitchen, but all I tried before was just imitation. 181 Howard Blvd has the most unique and talented chief cook! “Our first visit to Red Lantern Solaire North was a pleasant surprise. Though the branch is smaller, the service remained consistent and warm—just as we’ve always known it. The food was exceptional as ever, with the beef served in a box so tender it almost melted in the mouth. The hot prawn salad and mango roll were standouts, while the kataifi—a dessert that Red Lantern has uniquely served for nearly a decade—remains unmatched. It was a wonderful family meal, reaffirming why Red Lantern will always be our go-to place for celebrations and special moments. PS. They also have Chinese Tea presentation and the 1000 mask dance.“

“Best Chinese & Japanese I’ve had, from their green tea with toasted brown rice to their soups, their general Tso is always a good balance of spice to sweet, very accommodating with gluten allergy for my partner. They are always nice and we tend to catch going once a week at this point, very good every time“

“I was there today. Nov 11th, 2025. Omg this place is great. What A nice lunch we had. spareribs, Sesame chicken. And the rice that came with it was cooked perfect. Egg roll was yummy. I can't wait to go back. They are so friendly there. It was so hard for me to find a good place, but I will back for sure:) I have left over for dinner they gave me allot of food.“

“I just love going to Master Wok at Rockaway mall! It's a bit of a drive, about 25 minutes from my home, but let me tell you, the food is so good. My favorites are the Barbecue pork and the Chicken & Broccoli. They're simply delicious! You can get two meats with fried rice or lo mein for just $9.35. I've been a loyal customer of this Chinese food place since I was 16, and now that I'm 21, it's still my favorite place ever!“
“Really good food. The only tribe I have is the boneless spare ribs get burned all the time and ruins the flavor. Besides thst I have always been happy with the food. Quick to complete the orders. Friendly. Inside isn't great to eat at unless you like this kind of scene. I won't knock it too much because we are all different. It's great in it's own way.
But ultimately I recommend this place.“
“I’ve been living in Long Valley for almost 40 years, so I’m not sure how long this restaurant has been here, but the food is always been right on. Tasty, well cooked, always hot always ready for pick up. We never ate at the restaurant because we live right up the street, but I highly recommend this takeout.“

“The portion size of each set meal is too large, but the taste is still online, selling well with both appearance and taste. Very delicious, excellent Chinese cuisine.The food is really amazing! Beautiful in appearance, enticing in aroma, every bite exudes sincerity. We must come again! I am a regular customer, the taste is always so good, and I can eat with peace of mind like in my own kitchen. There are many dishes to choose from, and the taste is particularly delicious. Every time I finish eating, I am extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!“
