The atmosphere, the positive energy, level of preparedness, attentiveness to our guests were all amazing. Arriving at Oh’Brian’s from a solemn service to warm, welcoming staff was really wonderful. As guests arrived, they were brought to our private seating area and offered beverages and drinks from the bar. As people were greeting and gathering and getting situated, it was clear, staff was attentive and present.As discussed having the buffet style, everything was set and organized.People raved about the Garden Salad; The hot food entrees were phenomenal and plentiful; our guests felt comfortable heading up to get another plate. None of our guest felt rushed at any time and were grateful for being asked for drink refills. The bar service/staff was fantastic. The timing of the desserts was perfect. Despite the drizzly, dreariness of the day, guests took advantage of the canopied outdoor seating area-which is also lovely.We realize a restaurant works as a team, and this team was fabulous. Again, thank you, Colleen, for your open communications, input/feedback, flexibility and sharing various options for alternate layouts for accommodations. Again, planning something like this, there’s a deeper appreciation of having staff immediately demonstrate sincere kindness and understanding. I always get the basics the first time I eat at an Italian joint—I figure if they can’t do chicken parm, what use are they….big portions, moist, with a distinct red sauces-in a good way.The staff was super attentive, but we went early and this place is obviously an event/party type place—tons of beer on tap, a stage, etc. the waiter said the chef has been there for 20+ years, and it showed. “I was looking for a decent restaurant for lunch while visiting relatives in the Montclair area. A friend from the area recommended Eagan's. Great recommendation! We had fried calamari, thick cut fries, chicken wings, bangers and mash and fish tacos. Everything was excellent. Our server was fantastic. I would go back again...and again.“

“Great vibes! My partner is Guyanese and I’m plain black American and I love the carribean vibes! Food is amazing. Servers are super sweet and attentive. If you don’t like carribean vibes this isn’t the place for you. I’d come every weekend if I could afford it !“
