“SEARCH NO MORE for your next intimate & fun party venue! CHARLIE'S, The Bonnie's sister bar right next door was everything I dreamed of and more for my 30th Birthday party. Let me set the scene for ya'll... 35 of my closest friends, Game of Thrones themed decor & fits, cocktails that made everyone say "I drink and I know things" and the most fire food in the neighborhood... the party was a SLAY. Tali, the company's event coordinator, is the sweetest, most hard-working, and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to your event. She even went above and beyond to surprise me with a GOT themed menu by naming my cocktails after details of life. For example, she named the spicy margarita after my dog, "Kevyn the Kingslayer." COME ON! How amazing is that?!Speaking of cocktails... the incredible bartender, Olivia, bartended Red Witch magic with the amazing cocktails she made for everyone. She even dressed along with the theme, with her sword, serving vibes that was giving Night's Watch combined with Red Keep of the Bar. Everyone kept raving about every cocktail she made with style and care. When it comes to the food, The Bonnie always delivers, so of course my hopes were high for Charlie's. AND MY HOPES WERE MET! The ham and cheese toastie platter was delicious. The franks in a blanket were some of the best I've ever had. The beef sliders were a HUGE hit. And there were veggie options so we had the veggie quesadilla and the mac and cheese bites which were a crowd favorite.Overall, this party at Charlie's made me feel like Daenerys Targaryen on top of her Throne, like the Queen that was promised. Thank you to the Bonnie's manager Gerard for popping in to see if everything was going smoothly as well! That was so sweet. To The Bonnie/Charlie's staff - Tali, Olivia, Gerard, barbacks - Marvin & Pascual, and the talented chefs/kitchen staff, thank you so much! Your hospitality is EPIC!“

“My group had a great time at Sweet Afton. We went there on a Wednesday evening (7PM). We booked reservations through Resy, but was able to find a great table when we got there. Our server was very cool and gave us pretty good tips on food to order, was okay with asking the chef for modifications to our order, and was attentive to our needs.I always have a good time at Sweet Afton, so happy to say that the service and food/drinks are staying consistently well.“

“From the outside looking in, it appears as a "if you're not known don't come in" type of establishment. It's not! Don't let that fool you. The interior setup is rustic for lack of a better word. Definitely gives the place its vibe. Noise level is that of a constant chatter with some music in the background. I believe Gill hosted us and he was very helpful. We had two spicy margaritas and I enjoyed mine. My daughter's wasn't as hot as she had liked it or thought it would and Gill had no problem adjusting it for her. We ordered the guac and I'm not a fan of it. However, this one tasted good. I had the plantains and meat and mushroom ensemble. It's an appetizer and it was great. Blended well with each other. My daughter had the steak tacos and she loved it. Overall the price is what you make it. I enjoyed myself, my daughter got a new place to call home and I'll be back to visit Alcove.“

“Loved visiting this place with a friend for brunch! The food was great for the price and it has such a cozy vibe. The drinks are a good price as well during brunch and I would love to come back again alone or with friends. It’s small and the seating is a bit tight but it’s a good place to hang out. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area! The brunch burger was delicious and cooked how I like it but the main star for me were the truffle fries.“

“**Google Review: Mad for Chicken**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently dined at Mad for Chicken and had a mixed experience. The cozy cabin-like atmosphere combined with a sports bar vibe makes it a great spot for large groups. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of beers, which is definitely a plus.We ordered the 20 piece spicy chicken wings, and they were fantastic! The wings had a crispy exterior and a moist and tender interior. The spiciness was packed with flavor, and as we indulged in more wings, the heat really kicked in. It was a delicious and satisfying dish. However, we were disappointed with the crispy chicken bowl. While the sauce was great, there was an excessive amount of it, making the dish overly salty and the chicken soggy. The flavor was mostly dominated by the BBQ sauce, and the more we ate, the less we enjoyed it. I would not recommend this particular dish.On a positive note, they offer free popcorn with Asian savory seasoning, which was a tasty and enjoyable snack.During our visit, they had the basketball all-star game playing on all screens with audio, adding to the lively atmosphere. Overall, we had a good time at Mad for Chicken, especially with the great vibes and the opportunity to hang out with my girlfriend.“

“Update: still a little overpriced for the neighborhood but the food is night and day! They have an almost entirely new menu and the execution is consistently good - though service can be a bit slow they do communicate when the kitchen is running behind which is always appreciated. The veggie burger and fried mushroom sandwich are highlights! Still not my top choice for eggs in the area but solid. I assume they replaced the kitchen staff entirely because it’s now solidly worth a visit if you’re local.Old review: Made a Greek omelette with lettuce mix instead of spinach and have refilled cholula bottles with franks red hot. More than $50 for two brunch entrees and coffee (no alcohol). Will not be back.Vegetarian options: Black bean burger and fried mushroom sandwich are always a good choice!“

“By far my favorite place in Sunnyside to eat. The atmosphere is great. The food is great. The drinks are perfect. The real reason we keep going back though…Gabby and Linda. Two of the best servers we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. But it doesn’t even stop with them. We’ve had such amazing and pleasant experiences with all of the staff at Ida’s. The back patio is just THE place to enjoy their brunch. If you come through Sunnyside and don’t stop at Ida’s, you’re truly missing out. Even being reheated due to the long drive, it’s really good. The fries are crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings have a lot of flavor. The chicken wings are very crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Always a treat when I know my wife is bringing Mad for Chicken home.“
