Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. The meat is thick and soft, has a good chew and is full of juice. Not a single flaw. It's not a soju restaurant, it's a rib restaurant. Lastly, I enjoyed the clam sauna and ate kalguksu (noodle soup) in cool clam soup. It's been 7-8 years since I stopped eating kalguksu, cold noodles, and japchae to cut out carbohydrates, but this soup isn't one I can tolerate because it's low in carbohydrates. We were surprised to get such good food for such a reasonable price. The only slightly negative is the we asked for separate checks but instead the split the bill evenly into 2 checks. Comes with delicious bbq sauce, three kinds. All house made. The quality is VERY HIGH. I prefer this to Dinosaur etc. Great price value. It is NOT like the chain restaurant microwave in bag type ribs. It is similar to what I ate in OKC and Texas. The people are very nice. Great take out place. You have to know what to order. “Lincoln barbecue what can I say I'm an avid bird hunter in the Northwest and a film director and VFX supervisor in Los Angeles and have directed a lot of hip-hop music videos and felt right at home when I was in the heart of the hood in East Yonkers last night when I came across a Portuguese barbecue restaurant called Lincoln bbq. It is an amazing place the clientele mainly seemed like Portuguese. Their's a family atmosphere in which an hour to close, and I quickly saw and ordered the "Duck with blueberry sauce". Damn, these mothf*#%ers gave me one of the best duck eating experiences I've ever had, right up there next to perfectly roast Thai duck I use to get in San Francisco in the 1980s. Lincoln bbq created a perfectly roasted Portuguese style duck with blueberry sauce, with succulent mashed potatoes and spinach. I love that they're above the par, here in NYC area, but they're on a fine gourmet level and the surprise is you can find it right in the East Yonkers hood:) Try it aight!“

I must say please get the corn bread, it was to die for. No full bar menu but they do offer a small assortment of beers and wine. I loved the various banchan and the generous portions. I decided on a pork belly and octopus dish on a sizzling platter with rice, and it was delicious. I kept eating it although I was full. My husband ordered a pork belly dish that had a different sauce than mine did, and that was equally tender and delicious. The staff was very attentive and polite, and I like that the food is authentic. There's a Korean restaurant about 5 minutes from my house, but I'd rather drive 30 minutes to this restaurant since the food is superior. Bonus: the restaurant is family-friendly, and there's a playground right down the road so when we bring our infant son out for lunch, we can also let him play afterwards.“
