“Was in again for lunch today. Poke bowls are always fresh and delicious, and the service is very friendly and fast. Prices are also fair, especially when you consider this tasty and healthy meal is about the same price as a fast food meal or sub sandwich. We are fortunate to have them in town.”

“Always delicious, always delectable! Every dish I've ever had, which is most of the dinner selections & many for lunch, is absolutely mouth watering. Generous portions of great food for a very reasonable price- what more can you ask for? You can get take out or stay in, where the music always sets the mood for Tex-Mex food. The owner is head chef & really knows how to whip up a satisfying & filling meal. I'm so fortunate this wonderful restaurant is close enough to be a regular!”

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.”

Ordered french fries, onion rings, and small orders of sweet and spicy wings (10), crispy chicken drumsticks (5) and hot and spicy boneless chicken (about 12 pieces or so). “I love coming to Wasai Bistro whenever I’m visiting the east coast. I’ve followed Chef Nelson since his days at Aozora and Wabi Sabi. His food quality, menu options, and value are unmatched in the area. Once you try his food you will understand why he has so many repeat diners. I highly recommend the Mes Reves Roll, Uni and bone marrow ramen, Miso glazed sea bass entree and salmon lover entree but it’s very hard to go wrong with anything Chef Nelson serves. Parking is street parking only but honestly I’ve always had a very easy time finding a spot. BYOB so you can drink what you love.”

“WOW!! My boyfriend and I went out to eat here and the sushi was incredible. The staff were so nice and pleasant. We ordered the peppered tuna appetizer and I got the Mizu sushi roll and the aki roll. They were 10/10 and hit the spot. My new favorite sushi place! I also appreciate they were open late as I was craving sushi.”

“Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.”

“Yale Street Brewery is super cool. I love everything about this place. The coffee is extremely flavorful. The barista has a huge personality and style to match. This is the first time I saw a custom crafted brewed drink shaken just like a martini. When you are truly in love with coffee, it’s exciting to find something new and wonderful. This is a must stop destination for coffee, addicts like myself. I went out of my way to drive a couple of towns just to try this place out. You should too. By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours.They have a great selection of different styles. All the standard stuff, plus Szechuan and Cantonese specialties. The prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice. I love that when I order delivery, the driver is from the restaurant, not some internet service.I used to think I'd never find good Chinese food in this area, until I tried Hop Hing. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“Vinny’s is my go-to in the Garwood/Westfield/Cranford area. Every pizza I’ve ordered was delicious and the quality has always been consistent. My family loves the buffalo chicken pie and the grandma’s Sicilian. Their chicken parm hot sub is excellent as well.”
