Service however is just ok to slow. They brought out the dishes but forgot platters. They also never came back for the check. We had to find someone to give us the check.“

As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

The charcuterie plates provide were fresh and delish ( not to mention she inquired about possible food allergies and dietary needs) which was a plus as my girlfriend and I do not eat meat. 3 this is experience surpasses your typical wine tasting IT IS INFORMATIVE! “This was the first time we had just an average experience. I was taking a friend out to celebrate her birthday because we always love the excellent service and food. Yesterday things worked out in the end (through a manager) but several negative things occurred. For one thing, the filet mignon/lobster tail combination was not cooked properly. One order was for “medium” and it was totally rare. Had to get manager because server was busy bartending and waitressing. The manager took the meat back and had it recooked. Also, the lobster tail was extremely tiny. We have had this dish before, and the tail was always small but not tiny small. Ok, so now I am eating by myself while my friend is waiting for her dinner. BTW! It came out very rare again. The manager offered my friend a soup or salad so she could eat something while waiting. The Caesar salad was chosen. The croutons were stale. A new piece of meat was cooked up...finally to perfection. Took three tries! The birthday desserts were delicious and the chicken pesto appetizer was perfect. We do not think the service was up to par since we have always had such friendly servers. Another waitress came out to us because we felt like she was avoiding us. As I said, it worked out because the meals were taken care of, but i hope we do not experience this again. Seasons 52 has been one of my favorite restaurant and of course, I will give it another try!“

“I wish I could give Sihana Bistro more than five stars. We hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for my brother and the party exceeded all of my expectations. My first call with the fantastic owner, David, was seamless. David is incredibly nice and so easy to work with. He catered to our every need, was responsive throughout the planning stage, and was present during our entire event.

Venue: This restaurant is beautiful. You feel good as soon as you walk in. It’s bright and spotless. The ceilings are high and the attention to detail in the design and decor is obvious. There was more than enough room for our all of guests and the layout - private room + bar area - was perfect.

Staff: The staff is SO KIND. The service was impeccable and they are hands down the best team I’ve worked with. They helped us move furniture, kept the food coming at just the right pace, served drinks quickly, accommodated all requests through the night, and let us stay after the restaurant closed because we were having such a good time.

Foods: One word: Excellent. The food was DELICIOUS and there was so much of it. We served a true buffet dinner and had leftovers after feeding all of our guests! The mushrooms were a hit!

Location: The location is great and close to literally everything downtown. The restaurant was easy for our guests to get to and there are so many places to go nearby after an event. The Rutgers campus nearby is also spectacular to see when you visit.

It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. She was pleasant, tentative, respectful, friendly, polite and patient! My wife and I definitely appreciated the service she provided us! My only issue was the fact that open table has an option for you to put what your occasion is and the restaurant didn't honor it. However after speaking to the manager he did accommodate us in someway for the inconvenience. ! I would definitely come back here as it was a great experience overall!!! Great ambience! “I go to this airport very frequently and this is one of my favorite bars. The bartenders are cool to talk to, very fun, straight forward, and are willing to help. The cellphone ordering is very cool and helpful for when the bartender has a full order. You can just get your order in and not have to wait to get their attention like at traditional bars. Ordering is like getting a delivery on Amazon, but much faster“

He didn't pay attention to what we ordered, kept reminding him when we came back to the table of the items we ask for, nor the 1st or 2nd time, but the 3rd time. The atmosphere and food experience kind of override the service. I will definitely go back, but make sure I have someone more attentive and experienced.“
