“(Recommendations below) Their service is always speedy and orders always accurate. Food is always delicious. This is the go-to for everyone in the area whether it’s for a lunch break or dinner time take-out. They don’t offer delivery, but it’s in such a convenient location that it works out. Haven’t been to any other chinese restaurant as good as China Star 💗⭐️ they’re so consistent in every aspect. They also have a buffet, but I haven’t tried it yet. Give them a try!

“They have amazing biryanis and authentic flavors. Good selection of vegetarian menu. Chicken 65, Apolo fish and tandoori grill are my favourite dishes in their menu. They take catering orders for small and big events too. Whatever the occasion they serve you with warmth and comfort food. The best Indian food in this Dayton New Jersey area.“

“Great food here! I had to drive 40 minutes to get here, but the food makes it worth it! The service is great, the fish is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. The restroom is clean, but the only problem is the opening hour is a bit late. Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again. Possibly the best fish soup in NJ.“

Wow! Firstly, very lovely first impression walking in and being seated. I am a big fan of the robin-egg colored tableware and the Miniso Dundun chicken timers lol. The place felt very clean and fresh, upon arriving.

Food:
The broth was extremely rich and flavorful! Genuinely tasted like it was prepared for a long time (10 hours) just like they advertise! It tasted very savory and it pairs well with the chicken and the other sides! The fish maw white fungus, chinese yam, pumpkin, and hand pulled noodles were all very fresh and high quality. I personally loved how chewy the noodles were after cooking it!

Our order was 2 servings it felt like a reasonable price. Definitely satisfied with the portion size given that we felt pretty full afterwards.

The Mala Tang in the end was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and aromatic and the meats, vegetables and tofu tasted superb!“

Upon walking in the laoban talked to us for like 10 mins about how the pork was specialized from a facility in Maryland to get the same taste as Chinese pork by bloodletting

Anyways the sesame noodles were really great and the meat was good wonderfully flavored

The weird soup with pork balls was great too and kinda tasted like Chinese pork but maybe it was placebo

Bao buns might have been frozen but good

Fish balls we’re meh but maybe it’s just because I don’t like yuwan that much

But most of all the Chinese laoban felt like a very homely grandpa and even gave us boiled water lol

Overall very nice and decently priced very happy

Recommended dishes:
Free-range chicken (a classic of Hunan cuisine, the chicken is delicious when killed alive), sizzling squid (not fishy at all, with the aroma of barbecue), dry-pot beef brisket (not too bad, not chewy, just the right texture), smoked bamboo shoots and beef rice noodles (freshly fried toppings, full of pot flavor, personally ranked first in the Edison rice noodle category)“

“China Garden is definitely one of the best spots around if you’re looking for affordable and delicious Chinese takeout. The food is consistently good — flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. When you pick up your order directly, the prices are very reasonable. I spent about $18 for two full meals, which is a great deal considering the portion sizes.

Just a heads up: if you order through Uber Eats or other delivery apps, the total can get pretty pricey with fees and markups. So if you want to keep it affordable, picking up is definitely the way to go.

“This review is long overdue. I actually live in VA. However, every time I come up to Jersey to visit family I always order from China Wok. My family never ordered from here until I tried it out. They enjoy the food as well. We've tried different dishes and have yet to be disappointed. My orders are always delivery. I have yet to visit the restaurant in person. I highly recommend China Wok.“

“Super fresh and delicious food, all tastes very authentic.

Our family went there for dinner and ended up having a great time. We highly recommend Traditional sweet sour fried pork, classic fried mushroom, fried lamb skewer, and the noodle soup.

My kids love the sausage fried rice so much that they were fighting for it. LOL.

We came in late but the waitress was so friendly and nice to us. We really appreciate the hospitality they offered and will certainly come back next time when we are close by.

“This is the most delicious and authentic Dongbei-style food I’ve had in years. The restaurant is located across the street from a busy HMart shopping plaza. There are many great dining options in the area, so it would be easy to overlook Yi Pin Xiang.

We ordered three dishes: cumin beef, pan-fried pork slices with sweet and sour sauce, and crystal noodles with sauce. The prices are mid-range, but the portions are noticeably larger than those at most restaurants—and everything was excellent.

The pan-fried pork slices were especially impressive—perfectly crispy, even after we took the leftovers home. The texture held up very well.

The only downside was a slightly longer wait time. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed today. However, once the food arrived, it was clear that the wait was worthwhile.😋. FYI, the parking lot is located at the back of the restaurant. There are plenty of parking places there.“

“We were planning a big party at our HOA and after trying almost a dozen Chinese Restaurants, that did catering, we tried Cheng Garden.
We knew we'd found gold when every dish we tested tasted like what we ordered, instead of all having one flavor. The chicken, beef & pork were tender and not fatty, the vegetables were fresh and crispy and the flavors were delightful.
They couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant to deal with and their prices were right in line.
On the day of the party, all the trays were ready for pick up at the specified time, packed in boxes and piping hot. One box was accidentally left behind and Cheng Garden immediately ran it over.
But the best part of all was that everyone loved the food. The party was in June and we're still getting great reviews and members requesting Cheng's address.

The lady at the checkout is always courteous and nice. I asked for extra hot sauce, and she delivered it without hesitation awesome service! Sometimes, the phone service can be a little hit-or-miss, but you’ll always get your order through.

I had the vegetable ramen and my husband had the beef ramen. We both thought our ramen soups were very good! Next time I’d like to try one of their Thai soups. “China Chen is the best Chinese take-out restaurant in this area. I try to come here at least once or twice a month. It is in a little food court inside the Forrestal Village (across from the now-closed down Salt Creek Grille). I like their beef and broccoli, fried rice, bourbon chicken and pork egg rolls the best. The service is always quick and the prices are very good. There is seating inside the food court and outside as well. Everything is made to order (the food is not sitting out) and is fresh and hot. The service is friendly and quick. There's a PF Chang's further down which I do not recommend (their prices are too high and their quality is very poor). Wegmans used to have excellent Chinese food, but not for the last 10 years or so. This is truly the best place in the area. Also, China Chen takes credit cards and there is no service charge to use your card and they do not have a tip jar out (I know a lot of people hate that).“
