“I’m a SJ native and have been going to Scotto with my girlfriend for about 5 years. It is hands down the best pizza around. We will drive well out of our way to get it. It’s a travesty that all of these “best pizza” lists don’t choose it as it should be better known. Look at the reviews.

If you want brick oven pizza or a fancy sit down, yes that is not here. But Scotto is the place to get the best pizza.“

“It was a new place, so we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and sandwiches were so good. I got The Guido and tried a bite of my mom's Nonna's Special. The fact the ingredients are fresh certainly helps. I'll definitely order from here again. I dug their vanilla cream soda as well.“

My elderly mother and I were early when they were still setting up, and they welcomed us with open arms and got us some coffee because it was so rainy and cold. The food was excellent. We had many courses, and my sister-in-law said that they were extremely accommodating and offered many choices at a good price for the menu. The owner was lovely to work with. I cannot say enough about how excellent the food was as was the superb service that we received from the entire team. They were on every need amidst a very busy restaurant while navigating around walkers and people like absolute pros... with a smile on their face the entire time. I sincerely hope that the owner and staff see this review.“
