Tonight we had an anniversary dinner and it couldn’t have gone better. They know how important service is to their clients and it is their number one priority with a close second being there incredible food, which is always so impressive. “I’m a SJ native and have been going to Scotto with my girlfriend for about 5 years. It is hands down the best pizza around. We will drive well out of our way to get it. It’s a travesty that all of these “best pizza” lists don’t choose it as it should be better known. Look at the reviews.

If you want brick oven pizza or a fancy sit down, yes that is not here. But Scotto is the place to get the best pizza.“

“My family brought me here for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. Beautiful place with delicious food and cozy atmosphere but when I went to my car I realized that I forgot my gift bag and card (with a gift card inside) that my children gave me there. I went back to get it and the table had already been cleaned. I asked my waiter about it. He went to the back and came out saying he couldn’t find it. After about 10 minutes the manager came out with just the card(out of the envelope with no gift card) and said this was all he could find in the linens. I left very upset . I asked him to check the cameras. He called me back a few minutes later and said he found the gift bag. I went back in to get it but still no gift card! I continued to ask him how the card came out of the envelope? He stepped away again and came back with the gift card. Told Me he threatened the staff with the cameras! Very disappointing!!“

Their pizza is up there with the best of them in the Philly area but I highly recommend trying their calzones and hoagies too. They also have gelato and desserts. I can tell they use high quality ingredients. Also when I go in there the owner is in the kitchen or walking around so you know it’s a family-owned and operated business where they actually care about service. Super clean inside and friendly staff. They also deliver pretty quickly in the area. 1000% recommend!“

My elderly mother and I were early when they were still setting up, and they welcomed us with open arms and got us some coffee because it was so rainy and cold. The food was excellent. We had many courses, and my sister-in-law said that they were extremely accommodating and offered many choices at a good price for the menu. The owner was lovely to work with.
