“Good place if you are craving skewers. They have a lot of options. I'd reorder all the skewers I tried except for rice cake and fish tofu. The honey rice cake in appetizer is way too sweet, I'd not recommend. I have mixed feelings about the rice noodle and quail egg under foil grill. It's numbing spicy but the seasoning is okay. The noodles is chewy and quail egg is all right. It has bean sprouts and naba cabbage. I probably won't re-order cuz I would prefer more space for skewers. The restaurant is pretty small.“

The brisket cheese steak sandwich was the best cheese steak we ever had and the pulled pork melted in your mouth and home made bbq sauce the perfect sweet tangy topping to go with the sweet fluffy roll The mac and cheese was rich and creamy and the chips perfectly seasoned. Staff was attentive and kind. The environment is chill with a rock soundtrack to vibe to. Can't wait to go back and taste more things on the menu.“

“If I could give this place ten stars, I would our server jason was really hospitable. He had such a great sense of humor and his cooking was just phenomenal.

The way he cooked at bulgogi was nice, tender and cooked to perfection. In addition to that, the way he cooked the pork belly set me to heaven. It was crispy not oily and just overall beautiful.

“Love their customizable bowls. I usually get the steak bowl. Every item is made fresh to order. The portions are perfect. You can always add more of the protein. I also get the balsamic vinegrette. I don't know how they make it, but they have a great recipe that is delicious. They also have a meal prep option where you can place an order that gets delivered/picked up. Sometimes, there are extras of their mealprep available in their refrigerator cases. I've bought them too before and they were amazing a well. Perfect choice and portions. You don't have to be on a diet or a health-conscious person to eat here. I go here instead of fast food for my family. The people that work here are all friendly and kind.“

“We had my son’s graduation party catered by Lumpys. They delivered in time and the food was great! Everyone loved the brisket the most but the pork and chicken were good too. We also got Mac & Cheese. I got everything dry because I wanted people to pick their sauces and the only thing I’d change is getting the pulled chicken without sauce cause after a little bit sitting in the stereo pan it gets dry. The brisket and pork stayed very moist. We were happy with everything. Thanks Lumpys and Davin who helped me with my order!“

“Omg I forgot to rate this wonderful restaurant, I came here late on my birthday 3 wks ago unfortunately;due to Amazon delivering my outfit all late. So by the time we got dressed & had to get the babies ready. We didn't get to restaurant until about an hour b/4 they closed unfortunately. And the waitress was so nice, top tier customer service. We stayed until the last customer was about to leave so I told hubby to ask for doggy bags because I don't wanna be here while they're cleaning and be still eating because I know when I'm at work and it's time to close I don't want no customer staying late running me late to get home to my family lol. So she was so nice no attitude or anything and she was surprised we asked for a doggy bag and hurried up packed food up and paid and left. We made sure to give a big tip too because she deserved that!!! She probably thought we was gonna stay until we finish last bite. No we hate those type of folks lol. “So glad I found this restaurant amongst the many in Chinatown. I enjoy the roasted duck noodle soup from another restaurant but I decided to give this a try and I was happy I did!

I like how Lau Kee separates the broth from the noodles and vegetables! The flavor of the broth alone was delicious! When I put the two together…it was perfection. The duck is seasoned well and there is a nice portion of noodles.

I will definitely be adding Lau Kee to my fav list!“

“I attended a recreational employee dinner hosted by my boss to lift morale. Most of us never heard of this bar/restaurant. I was intrigued since our company is a high end restaurant in Chestnut Hill. If the owner and former head chef picked it, it must be good, right? HELLZ YEAH!!!!!! The drinks were potent and yummy. The mac & cheese with brisket was sublime!!!!! The grand entrance of the 6ft (?) cheesesteak with fresh cut sweet potato waffle fries were spectacular. SPARKLERS!!!!! The garlic parmesan wings were super. The nachos were on point, light & crips, not stale or greasy. My ONLY disappointment which was shared with another friend at the party were the baby back ribs. We loved the sauce- just right, not too spicy/hot with tangy gooey yummyliciousness. However the ribs themselves were MOSTLY BONE. It was basically use licking the sauce and the few bits of meat off the top. It was hard to even find any separation to cut it to get the meat in between. I wish they offered SPARE RIBS which usually have more tender, juicy meat on the bone. Cause I LOOKED at the menu before ordering the baby backs. Hell, they coulda just put BBQ sauce on the brisket and I would have had a foodgasm. Maybe I'll do that next time on my own. That said, I will definitely go there again but I will never order the ribs. There are so many other perfect food offerings to keep me happy that I ain't mad, LOL. Also, the TVs provided viewer ankles for everyone regardless of where they sat. And the bar stools were COMFORTABLE too. Our waitress was attentive and professional but not aloof. The bartenders helped us out too with friendly responses. I apologize because I forget their names. After all, I was so snookered from the booze, I am happy that I still remembered to give this review. It's 3 days later and I am still thinking about the dinner. Give it a try! Many of us took SEPTA, its easy to get to from bus, subway, regional rail and cost less to PARK in Center City. That said, SEPTA getting ready to go on strike so...... don't care how you get to Tradesman, just TRY IT OUT!!!!!!!!!“

“This was my first time at a Hot Pot. My daughter has been wanting to try it and my friend goes there a lot and she recommended it. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice n patient. It was so much to choose from. The location is peaceful and not far so I will be going often. I recommend to try the soup because you can create anything you want! I had to mashed potatoes with asparagus with it and she had french fries for her mash with asparagus. We both had a glass of wine, some sodas appetizers we had shrimp dip, and peel and eat shrimp. believe me everything was fantastic. The shrimp I had were jumbo size well worth the price some of you will look at some bad reviews, but I’m telling you they really stepped up their game for all that we had it only came to it $129 for the two of us. I’m telling you this place was fantastic. I’ll go there anytime it was nicely decorated the servers were on point and very nice like I said the meal there was delicious and it never disappointed me. Give this place another try or better yet just go there. You’ll see what I’m talking about.“

But we come here often. My husband and I have been coming here for nearly 10 years. We normally order the salmon Alfredo to split. It is so good. Since we've moved away we've cut back
On my last trip here my husband order on grubhub for me to pick up. Then man behind the counter showed me that order from there website or over the phone was more than a 10$ savings. (I love saving money).

My one concern is that on the last visit as we were ordering my family overheard me and two different family members asked me to order them an order of fried shrimp at 7 minutes away from eachother. One of my orders got dismissed as a duplicate and one reached out to confirm. Which means my husband didn't stop complaining for hours. I still love them here.

I still love the food and the people. But could you please make a phone call before you dismiss people's orders next time. I don't ever want to hear my loquacious husband complain about you guys.“

“Update: listen it doesn't matter when you order the food quality is number one. They dont skimp on food and its all tasty. I ordered last night before they closed and let me tell you they did the darn thing. The food was amazing and the price is so worth it. Order directly from them to save money or order from there site. I couldn't eat it all and I have some left and its better the next day. Want ribs these are fall off the bones and so much meat. You wont be disappointed.

I love the staff and there customer service. Please understand they are human too, and work with the public. Please have grace for this place cause you wont regret it.
