“I had a chance to visit Fatu's Kitchen and the food was amazingly delicious. My coworker told me about a beautiful place in NJ that sell Liberian food. I was little in doubt about the place and began to ask questions, because I was traveling from NYC just to get a taste of Liberian food, and man she did not disappoint me. In NYC, we often run into Ghanaian, Nigerian and Senegalese restaurants, but I never seen an established Liberian restaurant. Thanks so much Fatu for incredible Lib food!”

The potatoes are delicious they make the eggs just right I really enjoy eating food from Charlies. The owner has always been kind to me, as well as the young ladies behind the counter. Always great food always great prices and the best uptown and Midtown drinks that I’ve had.”

“This is a hood Hidden Jen don’t let that looks fool you when pulling up to the corner but I’ve been coming here since 1983, some of the best fried fish around they have porgies whiting and they also do fried chicken Also, love the potato wedge fries, any day of the week it’s a good eat. I love this place and the way to Fish tales.”

“This place has been my to go spot when picking up patties for party’s, gatherings, etc. Their patties aren’t big and square like the typical Haitian patties; it’s more rectangular and portion controlled. My only thing is - is the pickup for phone orders. You can call and place an order but expect to wait a bit when you arrive. In my opinion it’s pointless to even call for the order but the patties are tasty so it’s worth it for me.”

“This place is a gem!! a must eat!! We found it through Uber Eats and ordered 1x. It was so good. The portions were amazing. Portions are like something grandma would serve her hungry kids. We visited and now I frequent it almost daily! Homefries platter is not for the faint of heart. You've got to have a hearty appetite or share it out. Grits platter...well...something of a southern treasure! Beef bacon egg and cheese sandwich is always a perfect on the run, goodie! We tried the shrimp over rice and that was nice. Chicken over rice was even better as it had a slight kick to it. And again, no matter what you order, bring a healthy appetite cause you're gonna need it and a long nap, after! These guys are amazing!! Truly! They're sweet! They're efficient! They can throw down on that gril!! Yummmmm Oh...and if you've never had it, their lemon ginger drink is amazeballs!! This place really is a gem in the middle of a jungle 😆 Visit them and be kind! Far too many ppl are not kind or feel entitled to speak to them ill mannered. Please don't! These guys really are good people and their food speaks for itself. Thank you gentlemen for always providing the best!!”

“I ordered shrimp broccoli with white rice & bbq chicken with yellow rice and it was actually pretty good. Especially compared to all the other Chinese stores I have ordered from around this area & delivery was pretty fast they told me 30-40 mins but came in less then 20 mins . No complaints ?”

There's a board that shows the menu if you're new and she'll be sure to point you to the second board nearby (Grilled/fried food). There IS an ATM inside the store as they only accept cash. The food is extremely good too, thumbs up for them!”

“Their portion size is great. The food is good, and they have great customer service. The time that they tell you your food will be ready is true. Your food will actually ready when you arrive to pick it up. Best customer service I’ve gotten from a Haitian restaurant. Definitely recommend.”
