She is the absolute best, she takes customer service to a whole to level of excellence. My experience here is always beyond amazing because she’s always there. “This is a hidden gem in the Lower East Side. They make pretty good boba but I want to talk about the interior. The nostalgia in here is amazing. Everything looks like it was personally selected. The the curation of this place is sick. I got the Grapefruit Delight. I was skeptical of trying it because I thought it would be tart but it was actually smooth. No tartness at all. With amount of lychee. Not to discredit how good the boba but this spot is fire to me and I would just chill in here if I could. Whoever did the decor needs a raise lol. “This is some of the highest quality tea I have ever had . They use hi quality tea leaves and fresh fruit that are custom made to order. So each drink is tasty and refreshing. The boba is the perfect chew and the various Jellies all have a unique and delicious flavor from sweet to sour.
I love how they offer the NO SUGAR option if you want to be healthier but still enjoy fresh bubble tea.
I was happy to get a full menu explanation of the different teas , jellies, and options from the sweet and very knowledgeable Emily at the order kiosk.
She has a great smile and energy that made me feel right at home. So I will see you all there next Saturday for some of the greatest boba in NYC!“

“I’ve been coming here for close to a decade and the drinks have always been consistently great, with kind and fast service. I usually make a mad dash here after waiting in the Wah Fung line and the owner is always courteous to let me eat outside food in his store, which he doesn’t have to do. There’s lot of chain options on this block (KFT, Molly a few steps away, etc) but I always come back here because the tea is great (I love the Oolong Peach!) and not corporate-backed. Three sets of tables and chairs to hang with friends and take a reprieve from the heat“

INCREDIBLY delicious flavorful ice cream with a nice, stretchy texture alongside soft fresh toppings, and they make sure you get a good amount of them too! The milk teas are good too! A lot of boba tea places I've bought from put too much milk, and it completely overpowers the tea flavor, but not this place! I strongly recommend the Earl Grey Milk Tea; it tastes like Earl Grey tea mixed with melted choco-vanilla ice cream in the best way possible. My personal favorites are the Thai Moment ice cream, and The Honeydew Milk Tea! 10/10 sweet treats! <3“

“Got their Brown Sugar Oolong Tea with Signature Cream and Brown Sugar Earl Grey Milk Tea with Signature Cream to go. I always appreciate free milk substitutions (lactose intolerance is a lifestyle at this point). I really liked how pronounced the tea flavors were and it wasn't too sweet at the regular sugar levels either. The prices are on the lower end compared to other bubble tea spots in this area.“

“Low key one of my favorite (if not favorite outright) bubble tea places in the entire city. The service is great, the prices are reasonable (bubble tea is so expensive these days), and it just has a nice casual vibe. It's never too packed or rowdy. And most importantly, the bubble tea is always great.

My go-to here is the peach oolong with tea jelly and it never disappoints. The peach flavoring isn't overly artificial or cloyingly sweet like it can be at other places. It's really good!

Location is really nice as well, you can take your tea to go and chill in Washington Square Park nearby. Makes for a great afternoon or evening.“

“I’ve visited Modern Tea Shop before, and was super happy with my drink (rose milk tea). Today I decided to try it again and go for a different flavor! They have a lot of floral-inspired teas which is unique and a great reason to go. I got the matcha jasmine milk tea (oat milk) with boba (50% sugar), and thought it was 7/10. The oat milk wasn’t as creamy, so it caused the drink to be a bit watery unfortunately. Also, the jasmine flavor was not very pronounced, either due to the way it’s made or the sugar level I chose. Not sure I would get that drink again, but would recommend the rose milk!“

I got a strawberry matcha which tasted really good, but do note that the strawberry is highly concentrated and may overpower the matcha if you prefer a stronger matcha flavor. They also have non dairy milk options for teas including lactaid and soy milk. It was cold so we ordered the hot jasmine green milk tea with soy and boba. Very delicious. “This Gong Cha is located in a plaza at New Milford. They have a kiosk to order or you can order it with the staff.

Standard menu for drinks. They now have egg waffles (bubble waffle). I had brown sugar bubble tea and chocolate egg waffle. Vey good. Warm and fluffy waffle. Chocolate smells good. the drink was good as always.

There are some board games for passing time. 2-3 tall tables. Nice and clean. Bathroom is 4/5. It’s clean enough.

Overall a great spot for afternoon tea and pick-me-up snacks.“

“Solid spot for bubble tea in the city near Columbia's campus. On this day, I ordered a frozen matcha drink. Quick and friendly service. Drink was good and satisfied a craving but certainly wasn't the best matcha drink I've had.
