I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.

Ordered humus with chips as an appetizer. We ordered a variety of things: Grilled mixed (chicken, lamb, beef with fries and rice), whole fish, salad 🥗 , eggplant. Service is friendly and efficient, even when they're busy. I particularly appreciate that they're happy to customize orders (my kid always swaps hash browns for fruit). Prices are fair for the generous portions.

“The more convenient place for me than the Clifton London, although I like the atmosphere of the Clifton restaurant a little better. The food though is always good and service is pretty attentive either or not they are busy. The Montclair spot has a very nice outdoors seating section in the back.
Parking can be iffy as it's on-street and there are other restaurants in the area and close spaces seem to get taken quickly. However, if you don't mind a small walk there are plenty of lots and side streets in the area, just mind the meter requirements.“

“We had a great dinner tonight at Happy Vegans. We were greeted warmly and offered a taste of their special dish kofta, which is a delicious mix of spices, tomato and bulgur. I had the happy vegan burger which was huge with three patties made from kofka, lettuce tomatoes and a large serving of fries. We were given mayonnaise and ketchup to dip the fries in. Baklava for dessert. I highly recommend this charming restaurant. Easy street parking.“
