“This place never misses, check out the dine in week day lunch specials. People who rate it low are just mad that they don’t hold your hand here. Eat and get out. The food is superb, and consistently so. Price is right. If you want good service go pay top dollar at a gentrified restaurant, more dimsum for me!“
“Explored a bustling dim sum spot in Edison, often crowded on weekends. The standard dim sum dishes came on carts, with an additional menu for non-dim sum items. Fresh seafood, visibly swimming in tanks, adds to the appeal. While the food was good, it didn't reach extraordinary levels. Noteworthy, the chicken feet were soft. The restaurant exuded a typical dim sum and Hong Kong style vibe, complete with banquet tables and distinctive wall signage.Parking: Parking lot around the building“
“The pork soup dumplings were so so compare to other Shanghai restaurants. It seems like there was food coloring added to it, and the dumpling itself is so thick compared to others as well. The salted fish fried rice is excellent just like Penang across the street!“
“Went for the lunar new year before the crowd. They did their best to keep up with the volume and the business did affect their ability to service our table. A few requests had to be reminded such as water and our bill.Restaurant is one of the prettier dim sum places I have been to. There is a koi pond in the middle for all to admire. Restaurant can accommodate large parties.Menu has many options. Portion size was generous and impressed at the quantity. Ordered eggplant in garlic sauce, pan fried noodles and Peking duck.Dishes were delicious. Wished my duck came in at a warmer temp and accompanied by dumplings. Duck was served with wraps which I wasn’t keen about. Got to bring home a decent size doggy bag.Definitely would return if in the neighborhood.“
“First time here and brought 20 of my closest family members for Saturday dim sum. We had a really good experience overall. The food, the service and the family friendly atmosphere was great! My family and I have been eating dim sum for many decades and all agreed that Green Lake has dishes we've never had before. The aunties made sure to drop by every couple of minutes to ensure we had everything that we wanted while the waiters made sure our tea pots were always refilled.“
“Definitely the best Chinese food around! Everything is fresh, anything made with shrimp is excellent. Super reasonable prices too, especially the lunch specials. Takeout only but they deliver for only $2, no doordash fees! Don't hesitate to try it, you'll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from“
“Dim sum with staff rolling the carts around for your pickings. Come early on weekends if not, there will be a wait. Went around lunch hour on a Saturday and got seated with another family to have less of wait time.Peking duck is amazing and paired with these fluffy dumplings, green onion and hoisin sauce. Staff cut the duck table side and serve all the meat on a large plate to easily eat.“
“Hands down one of the greatest Chinese restaurants in the Edison area. They’re so popular that on weekends there’s at least an hour long line out the door, but you have to reserve the seats in-person. 10/10 on the food and the atmosphere is always hustling and bustling. Enjoy!“
