“I’m in the area for just one night and needed to figure out where I could get a quick dinner. I saw Sophie’s Bistro and after getting a recommendation from a colleague, I made a reservation. It’s a really casual place; not pretentious in any way, but the bartender was both talented and conversational and made something off menu to enjoy. For dinner, I decided on French Onion Soup and Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides this, the bread service they bake in house is amazing and I learned about the owner and how he treats his people and that made me even happier that I came in. I wish we had a place like this where I live; I would be there all the time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but next time I’m near Somerset, I know where I’ll do dinner. “Wonderful birthday dinner with family. The fois gras was amazing. Everyone had different first courses but each one was so enjoyed-including mussels and salad. Main courses were all a treat. Especially the Dover Sole cooked and deboned tableside. So buttery delicious. The evening special of red snapper was excellent. The steak was perfectly prepared as was the chicken with a delicious sauce. Dessert included chocolate mousse - almost as thick as a pot de crème - such an indulgence. The soufflé was a black raspberry which you could smell prior to its appearance at the table. Yum!!!! Always delicious with wonderful service in a pretty dining area.“
“I attended a friend's baby shower here about 6 months ago. Based on the food at the shower, I had been meaning to come back here for dinner. I came with my family this past weekend for Easter, and it was fantastic. Bill was our server. The service, the drinks, and the meal from beginning to end exceeded our expectations. “Great selection of cocktails, wines, beers, etc! It's a small and cozy space with seating at the bar and smaller tables/barrels. There is a private room in the back that can be reserved as well. I tried the yuzu cocktail and it was light and refreshing. The margherita pizza was good as well. Service was quick and attentive. They also sell a limited selection of alcohol. Would definitely return!“

“It was a very busy night but we were able to be seated right away. The waitress was very friendly and realized we were celebrating Ramadan; she made us aware if there was pork in any of the food we were ordering and asked if we would like to customize our choices, if possible.The food was very good and each person who brought anything to our table was very courteous. There were just two moments of not being able to eat while waiting for grated cheese & and for someone so we could ask for salt.We were asked when the food was brought out if we would like grated cheese; but they never came back. The hostess noticed as soon as we started looking around and came over to see if we needed something. She brought grated cheese instantly.We wanted a little salt on the salad, but there was none on the table, and it took a bit before I was able to ask for it.Being it was busy, we assumed they were busy or got distracted.All and all... for as busy as it was, the two moments were not as bad as it could have been and definitely worth choosing to eat there.Highly recommend“
“Had such an enjoyable time. The server kindly went through the wine lists and checked on us constantly. Most of the wines I've tasted were great! My favorite was blaufrankish, which was not that sweet and bitter, so I ended up getting a bottle. Usually, food options were not highlt expected in winery, but their foods were exceptionally delicious. One thing, the noise echoes through the winery space, so I had to talk louder. Other than that, I would love to come back again.“

“4.5. Nice cocktail menu, food is always good, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. They will take special requests if they are able to. It is not a Michelin star restaurant, if that is what you are looking for, but it is a hidden gem in Westfield. The food is always fresh and there is an eclectic feel of the restaurant itself. My wife and I have dined here several times without a complaint and the staff is always friendly. It is our go-to as a last minute option as it seems to be underrated and a reservation is usually not needed. The other plus is that they are open slightly later than other establishments in the area.“

This hidden gem (literally hidden behind the BP gas station on Route 9 South in Old Bridge) boasts a fantastic selection of dishes. The food at "Just" is truly delicious and of excellent quality. From the appetizers to the desserts, every course is carefully prepared and presented beautifully. The chefs clearly know what they're doing here. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, and the prices are fair. The restaurant has a stylish and modern look, with sophisticated lighting and elegant furnishings. The Owner's invested a lot of time and money creating this warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, if your are looking for a restaurant that delivers on all fronts, give "Just" a try.
