“You really can't go wrong with any of Red's food.And such reasonable prices compared to other island vendors. My personal favorite is her sweet onions and bacon dog, and her chili with potato sticks. Sounds odd I know, but trust me...she has so many unique toppings to make any combo. Then my other fav is an open faced loaded knish. She also does burgers, and baked potatoes, and thee BEST CUP OF CHILI!!! RUN, DONT WALK!!! YOU'LL BE HOOKED.“

“They aren't always there, but when they are, considerate it your lucky day. Some of the best hot dogs I've had, I recommend trying one with cooked onions and cheese, simple yeah, but it's all you need.
I've literally been going here for years (since I was a kid), perfect snack after a walk around the Rahway River Park. You can even ask for your hotdogs to go (they just wrap 'em up and put them in a bag).“

“EXCELLENT. We’re a Puerto Rican family and just didn’t feel like cooking this Christmas. Ordered arroz con gandules, pernil, pastelon, mini empanadas, alcapurias, papá rellena, and Pasteles. Everything was PERFECT. We will definitely be back.“

“A hidden gem. They park outside the LA Fitness in Kearny on weekends. I had the chicken burrito, and it was excellent. Very flavorful and hefty. I appreciate the fries on the side too. Combine the fries sauce and green sauce, it’s divine.“

“I have to admit that my expectations were low because traditional Mexican food on the east coast is rare as hens teeth. My wife and I were amazed to find the fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants on Cozumel. My only complaint is that the food is too good for a food Truck. Mike already figured this out because he's opening a restaurant. I can't wait to see his presentation on some colorful Mexican crockery. Traditional rum, tequila, and mescal drinks would make a perfect evening.“
“Found the spot by accident just searching the area I was for a hot dog spot, old school food truck in the parking lot of the American Legion plenty of parking. I had the chili dog with onions and cheese and a dog with mustard and kraut, the chili cheese dog was very good the chili was tasty the cheese was a cheese sauce of some kind and the sauerkraut was delicious Price is Right I enjoyed it. Also as there is no seating there I ate it in my vehicle while it was nice and hot he wraps the dogs up in wax paper perfectly there was no mess from the chili or the cheese or even the sauerkraut I was able to eat them in my vehicle nice and warm and not make a mess Kudos Sal!!“

“Westside Shawarma is back with a vengeance. Never have I seen so much demand for a small food spot. Literal posts on the internet asking about this place. I was excited to see the G.O.A.T return, and more so with a proper shop. I got so excited, I ordered two chicken platters and only managed to finish one. Warmed it up two days later and it tasted just as good as when I got it. Great to have you guys back!“

“Amazing corned beef reuben! Delicious and tender. My only complaint it seemed to be prepared cold because the cheese wasn't melty, but it was so yummy I didnt mind taking some of the meat off and heating it up. I got the mini combo with soup and it was the perfect amount of food for me! I love a good corned beef or pastrami but I don't always want a giant amount of meat as is often the case so this was perfect. And the soup! When I saw 16 bean and smoked turkey I knew I had to try it, but had no idea how much I needed those warm cozy flavors in my life! Will definitely be ordering again!“

“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“
