“Ordered the Kim Ramen, it did not disappoint, was amazing, perfect jammy egg, smokey pork, great broth, complex and amazing. Don't miss the chicken bumps. The was fire beyond good!!! Beer selection is ok but I had two decent ones which for me is good. Drink menu is fun, something for everyone. Super busy on weekends, go early. Great food, fun place! “Today I visited Kohoku Ku Ramen and ordered takoyaki and EBI ramen.
The food was really delicious. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a rich and flavorful sauce. The EBI ramen had a strong shrimp aroma, and the broth was rich and tasty.
I wasn’t feeling well today and had a stuffy nose, but the hot soup with a slightly spicy kick really helped clear my head. It felt so comforting and refreshing.
Overall, a great experience—definitely a place I would come back to!“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

The food was tasty, professionally presented and Portion size was large with a price point that is never seen these days. Pricing is beyond reasonable. Classy, elegant, yet very comfortable!“

“While I usually am not a fan of Ramen, the Ramen that I had at this location made me rethink my tastes. The selection of Ramen was wide enough for me to feel lole there were options, and the customer service alongside it was great. Such kind workers who had so much patience with my groups slow commitment to a meal. Would recommend to anyone!“

“We came in a party of five - two adults and three kids. We ordered one tsukemen, two ramen (deluxe and miso), one kid’s meal, and one fried chicken (karaage with Korean spicy sauce). All were delicious and filling. Anime is playing from a projector on the wall, which kept my boys occupied and quiet 😉. Staff were polite to us and the kids. “Hinomaru Ramen is one of the best ramen spots I've been to. We ordered the Hinomaru Ramen and the Uni Ramen, and both were outstanding. The Uni Ramen was incredibly creamy and rich without being too heavy. The broth is the real highlight—it has the best broth I've had, full of deep flavor and perfectly balanced. If you're looking for great ramen, this place is definitely worth a visit!“

“Waikiki in Saddle Brook is one of my favorite stops. The poke bowls taste fresh and well balanced, with generous portions and a lot of texture in every bite. My bowl is rich in flavor, perfectly glazed, and paired really well with the crunchy toppings and sauces.

The dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the wings came out hot and crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything felt fresh, quick, and well put together.

Definitely a great casual spot if you’re craving poke, dumplings, or just an easy comfort meal that still feels quality.

“Overall a great experience! The menu is small but has some nice variety. The staff are friendly and helpful, and were happy to accomodate any of our requests and refilled our waters whenever we needed it. The food came out quite promptly and it was delicious. Very fresh and hot. My spicy tonkatsu ramen was actually spicy which made me happy. The pork was good, though it was a bit hard to eat such a large chunk of pork inside of a soup. The noodles had a very nice bite to them, and the broth was savory and brimming with flavor. It also came with half of a boiled egg. I wish they'd just give you the whole one because it was so good! (And would provide more protein.) The salted plum sprite was interesting, not my cup of tea but I can appreciate it. The sukiyaki soba was also delicious, two amazing things combined into one! The noodles were so flavorful thanks to the sauce, and you cant go wrong with sukiyaki, it almost tasted like beef gyuudon! The kaarage curry don looked like a good portion for the price, and I like that they disclosed it was a smaller portion, it is a nice option for someone who is not too hungry. The ramen and soba bowls are a pretty good size. They also had sauces and seasonings at the table which was nice, and were happy to provide a fork for people who did not know how to use chopsticks. The restaurant is also very well decorated and it made the experience all the more pleasant.The food was a bit pricey honestly but it did not disappoint!“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“I just found out about this gem from Harmon Cove neighbor who recommended this place, and they were right! I had the Sakai ramen and it was delicious! It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon, but, our hostess was tremendous!! The food came out in a reasonable time, and was delicious! I am going back to investigate more of the menu!!“
