“They had a location in the Bronx on Broadway near West 231st Street. I am sorry they no longer have that location. It was one of my go to places. I miss my favorite meal there: Filet of Sole with crabmeat stuffing. Baked potatoes & broccoli..Nothing or no one is perfect but they were very good.“

“Eddie V’s Paramus is a gem! The Ahi Tuna Tartare was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the Filet Medallions Oscar Style with crab fried rice were absolute perfection. Service was phenomenal — Amy was amazing, and every staff member made us feel like VIPs. I skipped dessert, but they insisted I try one on the house — a classy touch that sealed the night. Seafood boil in this day and age is so expensive and here I can get 1/b crab legs, a potato, an egg, and cajun fries for close to $25. The hibachi menu is also DELICIOUS. “The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

I called Johnny's and advised them of this and they very graciously Sent a free pizza, celebrating my friends healthy return home. My old friend just finished the pizza, and shared it was delicious. Our food was prepared perfectly, steak cooked as desired, sides and drinks to even accomodate a food sensitivity. “Drove from Orange County,New York. FRESH fish and seafood at very reasonable prices. Will even cook you a fish fry. Bought mussels, clams, live crabs, calamari, and salmon. Only issue was the salmon was not deboned at all, but I'm still rating 5 stars!“

Corn was mushy, shrimp was , potatoes were a little hard, eggs were missing most of the white because I guess they couldn't peel it and one egg was not hard boiled . Whiting fish sandwich was not that good. My daughter liked the lobster roll though. Very hot in the restaurant, with flies.“

My husband had the fish fritters (chicarron de pescado) which was so tender and fresh and light. I highly recommend this restaurant. We also ordered a plain hamburger for one of my sons who is picky and it was made exactly as he wanted. My other son ordered a salmon which was grilled to perfection. The restaurant is family owned and everything is made fresh when you order. The service was friendly, too. I couldn't recommend it enough.“

“Had the catfish poboy at uptown night Market! They told me 15 minutes was done in 15 minutes. It was a large fried catfish filet and it was perfectly crispy. I think the tartar sauce may have needed a little more salt but overall great experience. Reminded me of Louisiana“
