“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. “The mint tea hit the spot and the chicken pastilla was also very solid. The highlight for us was the jawhara which was so light and crispy, with a great flavor of pudding. For the pastilla the portion was a bit small but fine for the price. However my personal preference would be to have egg inside (I don't think they use egg in theirs). Still, very pleasant food and service and I would definitely come back.“

“The food and prices are very decent and the person at the counter are very nice all the time. I buy food every weekend and never had any stomach problems like other places that get you sick because of the place not being clean properly. So far I give them an A+.“

“I used to go into the city for halal then by richmondhill/glendale. one night after work i decided to try essa's chicken over rice by qcm... 10$... that was 2021 best decision ive made and price has stayed exactly the same from when i first went there till now, not only is his chicken seasoned great but he blesses you with a perfect mix of veggies, fries and one falafel(if thats what ur lookin for but if u a plane jane then he'll bless ya wit that to. “First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. I came from the 6six, and the price was really reasonable, 5 stars, i got the chicken bowl which was my first time here, even though i wanted to try the lamb, but i chose the chicken which i thought you could never go wrong with. I was really craving that halal food. The chicken is well-seasoned, the rice is cooked just right, and the fresh sides like salad and onions are great. Definitely recommend it. “Mido’s Halal Foods is honestly one of the best halal spots I’ve tasted in a long time. Nowadays, a lot of places look the same and even taste the same, but this place was genuinely different in the best way possible.
