“Celebrated my husband's birthday. Had 2 rounds of caviar- 1 as is with blinis and 1 in re-stuffed potatoes. Tasty BUT the as is should have been accompanied by grated eggs and onion, and while the potatoes were delicious, we do not believe the caviar itself was the Royal osetra touted on the menu. The color and taste belied a lower grade. Also given how much we spent a manager should have checked in on us. The strip steak we had was surprisingly slightly tough too. But , our waiter was good. He did forget to serve my husband's coffee though. So overall 7 out of 10.“

Our waiter Luis was well versed in menu choices to complement our tastes! Bennett mixes a grey goose perfectly chilled!! We began with Seafood soup &.Jumbo shrimp cocktail. Perfectly prepared filet minion & a new seafood creation: 5 tender scallops over a risotto with lobster chunks perfectly cooked al dente!! And cheesecake with a gorgeous fruit medley to WOW the most discerning for dessert. The “Street talk”:. All midtown competition salivate for the “standing room only” customers in the lounge and without a reservation no availability in the diningroom!! “Parking wasn't as bad as I expected for the area, that's one of the main things for me. Dinner was good, that was expected. We ordered an egg roll appetizer, shrimp, thi k cut bacon sloves, a few different cuts of steak, salads, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. Bacon was impressive but there was nothing bad on the table. Staff was very friendly and pleasant.“

“BLT steak was one of my favorite places to have a good steak before the original one on 57th closed down. Wasn't sure what to make of Prime: It was solid but not spectacular.
The popovers are always delicious.
I was a little disappointed with the amuse bouche though, as it is the same one that they've served since BlT Steak opened all those years ago.
We got the wagyu picanha and the cowboy ribeye. The picanha was tender and the chimichurri added a brightness that balanced the fattiness of the wagyu. I was disappointed in the ribeye...it was supposed to be aged but didn't taste like it. And it wasn't nearly as tender as I thought it would be even though I got it rare (how I usually like my steaks).“

“I will say that I didn't find the service as exceptional as other locations I've dined in. The waiter left empty glasses on the table instead of taking them when he brought out the refills, they didn't clean the table before bringing out the next course. They were kind and added a laugh here and there. No one asked if we were there celebrating anything, which is usually the first question I hear in their restaurants, especially since we did come for an occasion.“

“We were given a very large table for a party of 8. Our waiter, Jose, and the others, were amazing. Super professional. The food was excellent. We ordered salads to start, and then we had the sirloin steaks, a salmon and the Lobster tail and Shrimps. For sides we has home fries, mushroom caps, Broccoli and sauteed onions. For desert we had the Tartufo and the Lemon Sorbet and a cheese cake. All very good!“

“I came here for my 26th birthday. They were flexible for the reservations which was nice. I ordered the classic fixed menu they had. So the Caesar salad with the steak and shrimp and dessert. I also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good. Tonya was great and attentive. My only knit pick is when they asked me what I was celebrating when I made my reservation I told them it was my birthday but there was no candle or anything related to that which honestly was a bummer.“

The waiter, Rares Adrian, was excellent: highly professional and knowledgeable, he greatly enhanced the experience. Our steaks were done perfectly and were delicious. The brass knuckle potatoes were also great. The atmosphere is very nice; it is a classy restaurant.
