“Doner Point Restaurant is an undisputed champion in the realm of culinary delights, setting a gold standard for doner enthusiasts around the globe. From the moment one steps into the establishment, the ambiance exudes warmth and authenticity, transporting you straight to the heart of culinary tradition. The attention to detail in the decor harmonizes perfectly with the aromatic symphony that fills the air, hinting at the gastronomic journey that awaits. The menu is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to excellence and authenticity. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest ingredients sourced from the finest suppliers. The doner kebab, the crown jewel of their menu, is nothing short of a revelation. The meat, succulent and bursting with flavors, is perfectly seasoned and cooked to a turn, accompanied by fresh, crispy vegetables and wrapped in a delectably light and airy bread that melts in your mouth. The harmony of textures and flavors is a culinary ballet, a testament to the skill and passion that goes into its preparation. But what truly sets Doner Point Restaurant apart is the palpable passion that the staff exhibits. Their knowledge of the menu, attentiveness to customer needs, and genuine warmth make every dining experience feel personal and cherished. The chefs' commitment to preserving the authenticity of their dishes, while also innovating and elevating them, is evident in every bite. Moreover, their sauces - oh, the sauces! - are a secret symphony of flavors, each a closely guarded secret recipe that complements the doner impeccably, adding layers of complexity and delight. Whether you're a fan of the tangy and spicy or the smooth and creamy, the sauces are designed to satisfy every palate. Doner Point Restaurant is not just a dining destination; it's a cultural immersion, a celebration of culinary artistry, and a beacon of gastronomic excellence. It's a place where every visit leaves you with a lingering taste of perfection and an eagerness to return. In a world where the dining experience can often be mundane, Doner Point stands out as a luminary, reminding us of the power of food to enchant and inspire.“
“Highly recommend and I would come again! We came as a party of 10 in Ramadan but the service was great. The staff were kind and attentive, food was served quickly, and it was delicious! We also got hummus, shepherd salad, and fries as starters to share, which were great. For entrees, I got the chicken sis with rice and the chicken was tender. I love their white sauce as well, so good! Portions were perfect. With tip our total was $35 per person which is reasonable for the amount of food we had.“
“A simple local Turkish bakery. We along with couple other customers were given delicious cookie sample without asking. It has the hospitality feel reminisced of the good old bakery from childhood. Very reasonable prices. Variety is limited to several types of baklava, cookies and some breads as it’s a small place.“
“Classic balkan dishes served here. As a fellow Balkan their Cevapi were great! I also had the pepper salad on the side since I’ve always enjoyed eating that growing up. It’s always nice finding traditional food when I’m away from home. Got my own coworkers hooked on Bosnian food! They rated the Cevapi a 10/10“
“Galata is phenomenal destination for food, company and leisure. The cuisine is immaculate, the service impeccable, the ambience vivacious. Long time customer myself, the restaurant has not only maintained their quality of service but exceeded my expectations every visit. Special thanks to Erkan who served our party of 27 graciously, patiently, and without fault.“
“Very impressed with the food and exceptional service. The food here made me feel like I was in Turkey. Notable attention to detail, flavor and seasoning. Portion size also surpassed expectations. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for genuine Mediterranean cuisine.“
“Hello everyone, we made a collective reservation with our friends, even though we were a large group, they prepared a section for us in the garden section and everything was perfect and the waiter who took care of us constantly came and checked our tables and offered many treats. I wanted to thank everyone here again, good luck to you and your efforts. May you have fruitful work.. ?Kid-friendliness: I would definitely recommend it as a place where you can spend comfortable time with your children :)“
“Always great food and a favorite. We've been getting takeout here for years since we moved to the area during the pandemic. The red lentil soup is my favorite and the spanakopita is amazing! We've had most items on the menu, you really can't go wrong. I prefer the Chicken Shih which is grilled and marinated chicken over the Chicken Gyro but they are both good. My husband enjoys the lamb.Because the dinning room isn't open yet and the blinds often closed, I think a lot of folks don't know it's open. It's a hidden gem in Ramsey and right near the train station.“
“Mr. Hüseyin, the owner of the restaurant, his wife and all the staff are wonderfully friendly, warm-blooded, smiling and helpful people. Anyone who wants to get delicious food in a good environment with quality service should stop by here. Although the prices are a bit high, the service compensates for it.“
“Happy Vegans Qofte in Clifton, NJ, offers delicious vegan options with a cozy atmosphere. I tried their Happy Vegan Burger and Babaganoush, both bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe. Overall, a great spot for tasty vegan eats in a relaxed setting!“

The ambiance is charming, with touches of Turkish culture evident throughout the decor. Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh my, where do I even begin? “Came from Texas by someone’s recommendation. I must say glad I did! We order lahmacun, veggie pide and salad. Everything was so delicious and service was great and quick. Music also so nice and pleasant. They even send us complementary dessert on house. I give two thumbs up with a smile on my face. Definitely great place to recommend??“
“Big Turkish bakery with many varieties of breads and cookies. I’ve tried many of their baked goods all very fresh. Went again today and quality is consistent. I especially like their Sokar smit, it’s baked throughout the day chances are you’ll get fresh off the oven. Parking is tight so be careful as some people are careless back out of it.“
“A place where you can have pita and, more importantly, hot soup, located in the Turkish region (Peterson) of New Jersey. The pitas had plenty of ingredients and were delicious, but the lahmacun was more delicious. Their rice pudding was one step ahead of pita and lahmacun.“
“My husband picked up takeout tonight and it was delicious! Portion sizes are huge. My Greek salad with chicken was expensive $28 but so worth it! It had arugula, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, red bell peppers, 1 grape leaf, shredded feta and olive oil seasoned dressing. My husband got lamb and rice (rice has chickpeas). It was a huge portion.Vegetarian options: Salad, falafelsParking: It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking“
