“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Two of us had brunch here today and it was a lovely experience. The staff were all very nice and helpful, and the food was delicious (I had an omelette and my companion had the eggs benedict; both came with home fries and a small salad). The coffee was good too, and they didn't at all rush us as we lingered over it. Prices were typical for this neighborhood (meaning a bit on the high side). The tables are quite close together and we were seated right by a party of six, who thankfully were speaking quietly, but I can imagine that that sometimes might make noise a problem. But today was great!“

“Nice Mediterranean spot, might want a reservation as it is a bit small. Excellent dessert selections and pastries. We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.“

Every single staff member here is amazing. Franck is a ROCKSTAR and made our meal lovely.

In terms of food, the dip sampler platter was so good and came with endless bread. Patatas bravas, salad verde, and beef kebabs were all perfectly seasoned. The cocktails we had (Neon Lights and Amaro Sour) were both delicious.

We also had a food allergy (dairy free) in our group and staff was fantastic with helping us order and flagging any sauces she needed to avoid.“

“I came into town for a work event and on my last night decided to try this restaurant solo at a bar seat. My waiter/bartendr Hector was absolutely fantastic- some of the best service I’ve ever had in NYC. I told him I was bummed since I was a solo diner and wanted to try so many things so he proceeded to get me a sample plate of the pastas and comped some of it just to let me try them all. He was also so attentive and friendly….so were the hosts and just the overall vibe was so good. Octopus and lemon pasta were BOMB. This place is awesome….highly recommend.“

My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. “It's a pity because the service and food was excellent. But it was freezing inside. We had to change tables further away from the main door as did multiple tables. People were wearing their jackets. That's not what you expect from a fine restaurant like this. Turn on the heat! No idea why they let it get so cold. That said the service and food were excellent. The winning formula would be turning on the heat. This isn't old man complaining, it was genuinely cold inside.“

“Went this evening to try this new place as I was graving some shawarma. Had a beef shawarma that came with olives and pickles. Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! Plus the service is FAST and there is plenty of comfy seating (which is rare in Midtown East)

We both got chix shawerma platters which comes with 2 sides. Heads up, they come with side salad, and we chose tabbouleh as one of the sides. Had we known about the side salad it came with already, we would have chosen a different side. We mentioned this to the gentleman at the register and he offered us another side. We got tzatziki and baba ghanoush! Both were delicious!!

Kudos to staff for offering, this is true hospitality.
