“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. It was decadent but not too sweet (especially with black frosting, I was pleasantly surprised), perfectly piped frosting, and perfectly light and flavorful strawberries and cream filling. I was having a tough day, and her cheerful attitude totally turned things around. She recommended the mochi donuts, which were delicious, by the way! You can tell she really enjoys her job and cares about the customers.

The Arancine (rice balls) are excellent. Good quiche and great pastries. The owner is very nice and lived in Sicily.
I bought some bread, that I found to be excellent.
Street parking, about 6 tables for 2 and good service.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly.
