“Stopped for a burger during brunch time and the place was filled the whole time I was there. The turkey burger was good and I was looking for a good turkey burger for awhile now. You can customize your burger or order one of the speciality ones from the menu. I ordered a turkey burger with white cheddar cheese and lettuce with fries. They also have sweet potato fries. Harlem Public has bar vibes so it's real down to earth and laid back. The staff was always moving around and open to give suggestions if you're trying to decide what drink or meal you want to order. They also have tons of appetizers. I ordered the mozzarella sticks which were really yummy and had a good cheese pull. I thought they were a little overpriced but Harlem Public is a cool spot. I'd go back.“

Deacon Brodie's is small, dark, beautifully decorated, and employs the three best bartenders I have yet to encounter (particularly Chris). While you can't get food here, you can get expertly mixed cocktails using the finest quality garnishments and an ever changing choice of beer. Two freshly refurbished bathrooms as well. I highly recommend it.Mulnaengmyeon is said to be a bit salty because it is made from pocha, but it was a bit salty to eat as food, so it was just that. The noodles were chewy and the soup had a thin ice.The boiled pork is perfectly moist and delicious. Highly recommended.The water ribs were truly disappointing. It was $45 for a small dish, but it felt like I was eating $45 bean sprouts. All I got were 10 pieces of marbled beef that looked like they were piled high on top.Inside is literally just a mountain of bean sprouts and nothing to eat.There are almost no other vegetables.Humanly speaking, that price is a waste of money. $45 is a rip-off.Still, I will go back to eat the pork cutlet stew.“

“This bar has been in the neighborhood for ever! It's an Upper East side staple. It may not be a big bar but it always gets a crowd here. Great place to watch sports, hang with friends. They used to have a nice outdoor shed that was split into little seating private areas with tvs and outlets and all. They also have one or two small tables right outside of the place. This sports bar has some games in the back if the first floor. They also have a very nice party room upstairs with its own bar and seating area. All the bartenders that I have met from here are all very nice. I recommend coming here if in the area.“

“This is by far one of the chillest spots I've been to in Sunnyside in a long time. I can't believe I used to walk past this place and never went in. We strolled in on a brisk Saturday night. We got lucky because karokee is held there on Saturdays. If you're with a big group, I recommend sitting in the front area because there is a big table. The big table is right next to the bar, which is perfect. The price for the night was only like $50 and was way cheaper than other bars I've been to in the past few years. The bartenders were extremely nice. The drinks were pretty strong, and wow, the green tea shots were delicious. ::bathroom alert:: This place has two stalls in the women's bathroom. Only 3 people can fit in the bathroom at once. The sink is in the corner and super tiny. You may have to wait outside the door instead of in the bathroom because everyone is friendly in the bathroom when they are drunk. Unfortunately, there isn't any food at this bar. But the good news is that there was a taco truck right outside. You're able to bring the food into the bar, which is a huge plus. But damn those tacos are delicious. This is definitely a great place to come with a group or to come with a date if you're on a budget.“
