“This Thai food place have far exceeded my initial expectation. This is perhaps my new favorite Thai food place in NJ. At first, I thought this was just a regular/average Thai food take out restaurant at a grocery store or shopping plaza. But I was wrong. The Thai food here seems to be more authentic rather than localized, which I quite enjoy. As for the service, it's great. The gentlemen who takes order at the front is always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to those who are just looking for some solid Thai food at a good value.“

“Everything we ordered was delicious - notable dishes was the branzino fish with lime and the crying tiger as well as the coconut ice cream with taro bites. Got quite busy at 6pm and restaurant was filled on a Wednesday so make a reservation!“

Here the food is different not the usual curry dish or sate and oh soooo good.
Loved the 2 shrimp dishes we ordered, the shrimp cake as appetizer was excellent.

“The food here was excellent. I got the Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their appetizers are all very good. I'd highly recommend going here on a date or family dinner. Menu is a little pricy but worth it.“

“An authentic Thai restaurant where you can adjust the flavors to your liking. We ordered roasted pork, Som Tum, and Tom Yum—the food was delicious, and prices were reasonable. The service and atmosphere were both pleasant. Recently reopened after a brief closure, it’s definitely worth a try!“

“I came here twice because I had a pleasant experience the first time. The server staff are beautiful and pleasant and not to mention the food abd cocktail. Their seasonal cocktails are delicious and to die for, nicely crafted and beautiful aroma.“

“I love Thai food in general and I have had a lot of it a lot of different places. This is the best chicken pad see ew I think I’ve ever had. The view of 1st Ave is super cute and they played great music so I can’t have asked for a better atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely and fast. Presentation of the food was also a step above and the place is super clean. I’d highly recommend and I hope I come back soon too. Only complaint was $6 for a sparkling water which I didn’t realize I’d be charged for. Oh well. I’ll skip it next time.“

“This is the best and most delicious Thai food I’ve ever eaten. You also have the option to make your dish spicy ~ which I LOVE. They made the panang curry extra spicy and it was phenomenal. Service is quick too! Highly recommend!!!“

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“This place....all I can say is yum! My first time in NYC and I wanted all the food that NYC offers. You guys killed it. Fresh, spicy (just like I like it) and you laughed when I asked for chili paste, but brought it to me anyway. 😆I'm glad I tried it first because all it needed was some fish sauce. I don't even remember what I tried, something with pork, but OMG, it was heaven. Super friendly staff and fast service. I will definitely be back to NYC and definitely will go back to PURE Thai Cookhouse.“

“Tam Mai Thai staff were super helpful picking what to try and very attentive. All the dishes I had were authentic and served hot. The pineapple fried rice was served in half of a pineapple which added to the flavor, and a fun way to eat it! They also use soft tofu, which is great in the Pad See Eiw. All the appetizers are delicious, but my favorite had to be the Curry Puffs, which are made using roti bread. Definitely check them out when you are in the area!“

“Churos Thai has a nice vibe whether for lunch or happy hour drinks after work. The ambiance, decor, and soft pop jazz give the place a hip feel. They have a full top shelf bar. The food was delicious. I had the lunch special spring roll, spicy basil fried rice with shrimp and thai iced tea, it was alllll goood!
Vegetarian options: The regular food was good. I assume the same for the vegan options (I did not try the vegan menu)
Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp to enter the restaurant and enough room to be seated at a table.“

“First, the interior is beautiful & serene with kind, attentive staff. I always look for a Thai restaurant when I travel and taste green curries everywhere I go.
This is now my top choice. Fresh market vegetables and the perfect green curry.
If you're looking for fresh, savory Thai bursting with flavor - stop searching.“

“Food was good. Got an original poached chicken and tried the fried chicken as well. Definitely enjoyed the fried chicken more. Well fried, juicy, and flavorful. The ginger rice was also very flavorful. Came with a small soup and salad. No complaints here!“

“Locals know this is *the* best Thai food in the neighborhood. For delivery especially, the food comes so fast it’s almost scary (did they know my order before I ordered it? How else could they get here so fast?). But the food is delicious and the portions are huge.
In person, Buffs is equally great. The vibes are fun and the service is super friendly and nice.“

“Incredible food authentic Thai food tastes using the best ingredients to achieve the taste of Thai food. Had the Som Tom salad with beautiful balanced flavours and perfect heat. The Tom yum soup was lost for words every spoonful was heavenly in my mouth, exceptionally made. Crispy chicken with cashews was a great dish a little less sweet the dish would have been even greater. Service was great by our waiting staff. Thank you for your hospitality the owner was very much involved back house and at the front of the house keeping customers informed. A little bit pricey but for food like this all Hollywood stars should know about this place, not in Greenwich or Tribeca but on 2nd Ave. Gem of a place don't miss this 4.9-starred TripAdvisor and top 10 Thai place to eat in New York.“

“Very good, well-flavored classic Thai dishes Lunch specials range from Pad Thai noodles or Khao Pat fried rice with choice of proteins to soups and salads. Each lunch includes an appetizer such as spring roll or soup. We tried a Tofu soup with vegetable fried rice plus a Tom Yum spicy soup with.Vegetable Yellow Corry. Also had a side of the yummy crab and lobster ravioli in spicy Thai sauce which had lemongrass flavors in an aromatic coconut milk broth. Lots of vegetarian and some vegan options. Good for adventurous kids too. Large menu for such a small place The tiny dining room is adorned in tree branches with golden leaves giving it an exotic yet cozy air. Very nice demure waitress, Quiet crowd. Good value for good size portions, would be great choice for a budget date night. Also a very welcoming place.“

“I recommend! The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The food is amazing, with rich, deep flavors.
My absolute favorite is the Braised Beef Basil (10/10)— savory and spicy, it’s a must-try! I’ve also had:
• Pad Kee Mao (8/10) – Very flavorful, but the noodles were a bit too chewy.
• Roti Massaman (8/10) – Delicious, but the cinnamon flavor makes it more sweet than spicy.
• Crispy Crab Rangoons (6/10) – Decent, but nothing special.
• Chicken & Shrimp Dumplings (5/10) – Just okay, wouldn’t order again.
• Pattaya Wings (7/10) – Pretty good, but not the best I’ve had.
• Panang Curry (7/10) – Tasty, but not outstanding.
Side note: I ordered the Braised Beef Basil all four times, and I’ve noticed the portion keeps getting smaller each visit! The amount of beef on the plate has noticeably decreased, which is disappointing. Because of that, I’ll be taking a break from it for now.
Overall, still a great spot with amazing flavors—I just hope they fix the portion sizes!“

“I was recommended the beef noodle soup and that was very tasty, as well as my friend's pad kra pow. I would say that the drunken noodle did lack a bit of flavor, though. The service was very helpful and attentive, and I loved the vinyl theme they had going on. It felt like a Thai record store on the inside!“

“I gave this place five stars for one reason only: I wanted the people to read my review. If I gave one star, the review would be pushed back to the end. My review... Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. Restaurants that do not care about the quality of their products do not care about hygiene.“

“Upon entering, you feel as if you've been before. Waan Waan is so familiar and unfussy you know the food is gonna be good and you won't pay too much for it. I got the beef drunken noodles and they were incredible. So flavorful and a great kick from the peppers and sauce. Followed up by coconut mango sticky rice , a perfect finish. This is where you come to get a dependably good meal for a decent price.
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating“
