“The gelato here was delicious! A bit pricey, but everything has gone up in price so not surprised. They had ample seating at the time we came (probably because it was raining lol). The girl who helped us was nice however she was a little unsure about certain things. She was younger and maybe new to being in customer service it seemed.“
“Been coming here for years & just love the feel of this establishment. It’s relaxing & the staff is friendly, the place is clean, food & coffee are top notch. My only negative comment is my wife & I miss when music used to be played here on weekends, Covid destroyed that like everything else!“
“Went here to meet a friend for coffee before a meeting plus I had a gift card. I don't usually go to Starbucks, overrated in my opinion but the service was good and it was an ok place to sit and talk for a bit. I had an iced vanilla bean coffee something or other.“
“Delicious food and excellent flavor combinations. Much of the food is meat but I absolutely recommend for vegetarians. The cauliflower mezze was extremely well-flavored, the chickpea and eggplant mezze had fantastic texture, and the oyster mushroom kebab was one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had.“
“The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.“
“Food is great very creative I’d recommend the shrimp taco, new favorite place drinks are good too not watered down like other places. Service here is awesome. Leah is great our second visit she remembered my name she treats her regulars like we visit everyday. At one point I thought she was the owner bc she does such a great job running the place. This is now my favorite place to go.“
“A cute pet-friendly cafe with a persimmon theme in Fishtown. It might be a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was busy on a Sunday morningSide note: My friend recommended me Drift Magazine for city coffee guide and I was excited to flip the physical copies there. We ordered latte and cappuccino. Very smooth coffee with a nutty espresso base. Well-frothed milk gave a creamy texture. Loved the latte art on top. The porcelain mugs and coasters they used were cute. Their pastries looked attractive to serve with coffee too.“
“Il Sorriso is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the city. The moment you step in, you're greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Their espresso is bold and flavorful, and their pastries are delectable. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a relaxing atmosphere, Il Sorriso never disappoints.“
“Absolute best bakery in Philly. Local gem run by the coolest/sweetest couple. Best bagels in the city and you can’t go wrong with anything else. Creative dairy and vegan options including the best croissants I’ve had outside of France. Get in line early if you want the goods!Vegetarian options: Amazing vegan selectionWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“I had a cappuccino, and it was alrightIt wasn’t the best coffee / cappuccino I have had, and it wasn’t one I would come back forWhen in the area, I would try other drinks on the menuThe butterfly green tea looked good thoughVegetarian options: Vegetarian options are availableParking: Free street parking is available, but it may be hard to find“
